Wishing You Peace, Love & Joy
Hello bloggers! I started today's card by covering a piece of black card with a sticky adhesive sheet. I peeled the backing paper off and
randomly sprinkled an assortment of
Glitterbitz on to it. This card used Vintage Violet, Ocean
Spray, Periwinkle and Lavender Glitterbitz. Using the Double Stitched Rectangles,
cut a white frame and added mounting foam on to the back of it. I added glue to the mounting foam on the
frame (since it will be touching glitter) and attached it over the glittered
piece. I trimmed away any excess card from under
the edge of the frame. I cut the Christmas Angel 2024 out of
both white and milk card. I coloured the hair, hands and skin on
the milk card die cut (I used coloured pencils, but markers can also be used) I cut away the dress on the white die
cut, added a white backing to it and glued it on to the milk card die cut. I cut the wings out of white vellum and
attached them to the back of the angel. I cut
the halo out of white card and glued it to the angel. The Angel was attached inside the frame using mounting foam with glue added to it. The Wishing You Peace, Love & Joy sentiment was cut out of cobalt blue card and added to a white shadow backing piece. It was added to the inside of the
frame with mounting foam and glue. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished
dimensions are 7” x 8 ¼” in size.
