World's Best Dad

Hi there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece of white card for the background.  I cut a tapered strip of Slate grey card and added some white lines down the middle of it.  I cut the Vintage Car die out of aqua card.  I used a white pencil to shade the sides and a grey pencil to fill in the tires and bumper.  I added mounting foam to the back of the car and attached it to the road.  I cut a circle out of some card and sponged Mustard Seed distress ink through it to create a sun in the background.  I cut the World's Best Dad sentiment in black and glued it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added mounting foam to the back and seated it in the upper corner of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

For Someone Special

Hi bloggers!  I started with a piece of black card for the background.  I cut one of the Coronet Lace borders in white four times.  I turned them towards each other and glued two of them to each side of the card.  Next I cut the Lena die with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card.  I did this twice and used the white copy to colour the images.  I used a red alcohol ink marker to colour the flowers and sides and a green for the leaves.  I assembled the two images.  I attached the first one horizontally then added the second die cut vertically across the first one.  I cut the For Someone Special sentiment from the Wordie sheets and added it at the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  9"  in size.

Just Because

Hello crafters!  I started with a piece of white card and cut the Elegant Fanfare die out of Ocean card twice.  I nipped the die apart and reassembled it into a larger square.  I glued it to the white card.  Next I cut the Elegant Stroll die in milk card.  I cut it again out of teal card.  I nipped away the dress, gloves and hat and glued it to the milk die cut.  I coloured her shoes, skin and hair with markers.  I cut the dog out of grey card and glued it to the die cut.  I added her with mounting foam to the left side of the frame.  I cut the Art Deco Just because sentiment out of both teal and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment then glued it to the top of the frame.  I cut a larger piece of white card and glittered the edge with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, then added the other piece to it with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

All Geared Up To Celebrate

Hi there my crafty friends!  We are at the final post of the die release and this post is dedicated to the last of the sentiments; All Geared Up To Celebrate.  A great sentiment to go with the cars and perfect for a birthday or any other special occasion.  The die has also been done in two pieces so you have the sentiment and a shadow backing die as well.  For the last time, remember to add your comment to this post and check back on the 16th of April to see if your name was the one drawn out to win the collection.  All for now, Sue x

The next set on offer today is the Tyre Tracks die set.  This set has two dies in it.  One is a debossed tyre track and the other one is a die cut tyre track.  They look nice when used together too.    I have used them on the sides of the card shown here.  This set will make a great addition with any of the car die sets too.  If this one would make a nice addition to your crafting stash, then just leave a comment on this post.  The final post will be on the blog at 6pm today.  All for now, Sue x

You're A Real Classic

Hello bloggers!  Welcome to the start of the second and final day of the launch.  The first of the new sentiments dies is the You're A Real Classic.  This one goes great with the vintage cars as seen in the sample shown here.  The sentiment  also has a backing die with it so you can use it with or without the backing die.  Each word has been done separately so you can change the configuration of the sentiment to suit your needs as well. Add your comment to this post to increase the number of entries into the drawing.  You still have several more comments  that you can add to the drawing before the end of the launch.  I will be back at noon with the next offering.  I hope you can join me back here then!  All for now. Hi there my crafty friends!  The next die set that I would like to share is the Assorted Tool Borders.  Shown here, I have used the tool border repeated across the background of this car.  Plus you get a peek at the Volkswagon car from the earlier Classic set of cars too.  There are five borders in this set, including the tool border, hex nut border, a sprocket border and two different screw driver borders (slotted and Phillips head style).  If this set would be a nice addition for you, then why not leave a comment on this post?  Someone has to win the collection and it might as well be you!!  We are at the end of the first day but we still have one more full day starting tomorrow morning at 6am UK time right here on the blog.  All for now, Sue x

Vintage Cars

Hi there my crafty friends!  The next die set to be showcased is the Vintage Cars.  This set has two dies in it as well, with what I think is a convertible Rolls Royce and maybe an old Packard from the 1950's, but I am not positive (if anyone does know exactly what these cars are, I would love to hear from you!)  What I can say is these are pretty cool old cars!  If you are a lover of vintage cars or knows someone who is, then this set is for you!  Go ahead and leave a comment on this post and you will be entered into the drawing to possible win the entire collection!  There is one more post today and it will be on the blog at 6pm tonight.  All for now, Sue x

Classic Cars

Hi bloggers!  The next die on offer is the Classic Cars die set.  This set has two dies in it; a Mini Cooper and a Volkswagon Beetle.  These are great cars for anyone and my very first car that I ever drove was, in fact, a Volkswagon Beetle in my drivers ed class in school.  If you think this set will make a nice addition to your crafting goodies, then why not leave a comment on this post!  Don't forget to sign your comment as I have no way of knowing who they are from unless they are signed!  I will be back with the third post of the day at 3pm.  All for now, Sue x

Just For You

Hello crafters!  I selected a piece of pixied card from my stash to use as the background for today's card.  It was created by using Aqua Lagoon and Teal Wash Pixie Powders.  I matted the pixied piece with a piece of black card and added it to a piece of white card that I had used the smaller die from the Heart Scalloped Border die on the sides of the card.  Using the Clipped Corner Rectangles, I cut a white frame and added it to the card with mounting foam.  I cut the Layered Magnolias in white and inked the centres with Mustard Seed distress ink.  I assembled the flowers nd added them to the stems cut in brown and leaves in green.  I arranged the flowers around the edges of the frame.  I cut the Just For You sentiment in black and glued it to the inside of the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9 1/2"  in size.
