Tis The Season

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by cutting two of the Stained Glass Rectangles in white and matting them together.  Using the Stylish Poinsettia die set, I cut three different sized flowers out of  Ruby Red card.  I assembled the flowers and added yellow centres.  I seated the flowers on the right side of the card, then added green leaves and berry stems as accents.  I cut the Tis The Season sentiment in red and added it to a white shadow backing die.  I attached the sentiment in the left corner with mounting foam.  I cut a larger piece of white card and ran double sided tape around the edges, then coated it with Iced Snow. The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

For You

Good Sunday morning all!  I cut the Diamond Radiance Background out of Amethyst card.  I backed it with white card then cut the centre out of it.  I added mounting foam to raise it, then added it to another piece of amethyst card.  I cut the centre die from the same set out of black card and recessed it down into the frame.  I cut the Decorative Tag Duo out of white card and backed it in white.  I added it across the frame with mounting foam.  I cut the Art Deco For You sentiment in black and glued it to the tag.  I cut a larger piece of black card and ran double sided tape around the edges.  I sprinkled Black Onyx Polished Silk Glitter on it.  I added the amethyst frame to the centre with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white, amethyst and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

All Geared Up To Celebrate

Hello crafters!  I embossed a piece of white card using the Metal Effect stencil.  I cut the screwdriver border from the Assorted Tool Border set four times out of black card.  I glued them around the edge of the embossed background to create a faux frame.  Using the cog border twice from the same set, I cut it out of brushed silver card and nipped it apart to create four corners and glued them into place.  From the Classic Car die set, I cut the Volkswagen out of aqua card and tried to make it look like the Love Bug (from the old movie) by adding flowers to it, cut from the Blossom Patch die set.  I added it with mounting foam.  I cut the All Geared Up To Celebrate sentiment  out of aqua card and matted it onto the shadow backing die cut in white.  I added it above the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7"  in size.

Tis The Season

Hello bloggers!  I started today's card by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  Next I cut the two of the  Looped Ovals in red and matted them together.  Using the Candy Canes die set,  I cut both of them in white and backed them in white.  I cut the candy canes again out of both red and green and then paper pieced the red and green stripes back into the die.  I crisscrossed them and added them to the Looped ovals.  I cut a bow from the set out of green glittered card and added it across the candy canes with some foliage from the set.  I cut holly leaves and berries and added them to the top corners.  I cut the Tis The Season die out of green card and glued it to the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

Just Because

Hello crafters!   I started with a piece of white card.  I used the Double Stitched Squares and made a thin white frame and added it to the middle of the card with mounting foam.  Next I cut the Wild Rose die out of ruby red, marigold yellow and soft lavender card.  I cut black centres for all of them and glued them around the thin white frame.  Inside the frame I cut two of the birds, a branch and a nest from the Wild Bird die set.  I glued the branch across the middle of the frame and added a tan bird with a red belly and the nest with some eggs in it.  Using the Fabulous Foliage die, I cut some foliage out of green card and added it to the bottom of the frame.  I seated one more bird with a red belly in the foliage.  I cut the Just Because sentiment out of black card and glued it into the upper corner of the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.
