Best Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I have an almost white on white card for you today, just a touch of blush to it!  I started by cutting the Lexi die out of blush card and backing it with white.  Next I cut the Phoebe die five times out of white card.  On three of the five, I used the inner decorative die.  I cut all of them in half.  I layered the cut ends to the top and bottom of the card and used the more solid ones on the outside with the more decorative ones to the inside.  I added the last cut one to the sides of the Lexi die and mounted it in the centre with foam.  I cut the centre section from the Caroline die in white and backed it in blush card and added it to the middle of the card with foam.  I stamped my sentiment and added it to the centre, then cut several small flowers from the Chloe die out of blush card, added small pearls and scattered them around the sentiment.  White and blush layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  9 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Just Because

Hello crafters!  I just love these flower square dies so I have loads of cards to share with you.  I started by cutting the Daffodil Flower Square out of white card, then attaching a piece of vellum to the back of it.  I used a Mustard Seed Distress marker for the flower and a Forest Moss marker for the leaves and Tumbled Glass for the background.  I did the colouring from the back side of the attached vellum.  I added a white backing too it then added mounting foam to the back.  I cut a larger piece of coconut white card for the background, then cut the Hexagonal Border out of white card.  I put a dab of glue on to the back of all of the fall away pieces in the centre of the border while they were still in the border, then laid it on to the side of my white card and popped them out in the same configuration to create a unique border for my card.  I attached the flower in the upper corner area and added a shadowed Just Because to the lower corner.  White and black mats were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Miss You

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by cutting the Ivy Garden Background out of a piece of coconut white card.  I cut the background again out of green card and used the ivy corners from it and glued them back into the white card.  I sprayed glue over the background and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I cut the circular ivy die from the set in white and added it with foam.  I cut the very centre die in white and added a thin green edges using a distress marker.  I cut the Miss You in green and glued it to the centre of the die.  Using the Double Pierced Noble dies, I added a thin white frame around the background, adding it with mounting foam to raise it.  I completed the card with white and green mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Christmas Double Day

Hi bloggers!  The first card uses a deep blue background, which is quite unusual for me, but I rather like it!  I cut the Triptych Window out of silver mirror card.  I used a caught in crystal background that  I had made using alcohol inks and mica powders. On a piece of acetate,  I used Blueprint, Cool Peri and Stonewashed Denim, then sprinkled on some silver mica powder before scrunching up a piece of tissue paper and setting it aside to dry well.  I used the outer die to cut the backing for the window, then glued them together and mounted it in the upper portion of the background.  I cut a bunch of the Classic Poinsettia out of vellum and used Silver Gilding Polish on the petals to add a little shine, then assembled them and added the flowers to the corners.  I cut the Silent Night in silver and glued it to the centre.  White, silver mirror card and Deep blue card were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  8 1/2" in size.  Scroll down to see card number two.

For card number two, I embossed a piece of coconut card using the Falling Snow Embossing folder.  I cut it diagonally and added mounting foam to the back. I cut another piece of coconut white card, matching the diagonal cut.  I added mounting foam to the back of it too.  I mounted them both onto a piece of Cobalt Blue card, leaving a wide gap between them.  I cut thee Frosty Snowflake Border out of white and glued it into the gap between the two halves.  I cut the 2018 Christmas Angel with a piece of cobalt blue on top and coconut white card underneath.  I used the blue as the outline and the white copy as the solid backing.  I sprayed glue onto the white backing piece, added the outline, then glittered the angel with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz,  I mounted her on the lower left corner and added some pearl swirls.  I cut the Swirled Silent Night twice, them cut both of them apart to get both the Silent and the night words to offset in the upper corner.  White and blue mats and layers were used to complete the card,  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  9" in size.

Don't forget that the drawing for the die launch winners will be held later today,  It's not too late to add any comments to posts you may have missed!    All for now, Sue x
