Best Wishes

Hello crafters!  For today's card I first cut a piece of white card and embossed it with the Quilted Heart embossing folder.  Next, I cut the Harper die out of Dusty pink card.  I cut the Jayne die out of white and added it to the Harper die vertically.  I cut the Rose Cluster with two pieces of white card.  I used the bottom card, which simply embossed the designed to colour the design with markers.  I glued the white die cut on top, then hand cut several of the roses apart to use individually.  I added one to the left side of the die cuts and another with two small buds to the right side of the die cuts.  I cut the Best Wishes sentiment out of dusty pink and black card.  I shadowed the pink one by offsetting the black one behind it.  I used the Looped Rectangles, which I cut in white and then cut them down in size by using the edge of the die to cut one side to make it smaller.  I added another rose to the left of the sentiment and two buds to the right.  I glued the sentiment to the middle of the Looped Rectangles and added it below the focal element.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now. Wishing You Peace, Love & Joy

Hello bloggers!  I started today's card by having a rummage through  my stash and I found this piece of blue card that I had already splattered a white paint pen all over.  I thought, perfect, this will make a lovely starry night sky for the background to my Christmas Angel 2026!  I cut the angel die out of milk card and silver sparkle card.  I coloured the hair and face on the milk die cut, then nipped away the dress on the silver sparkle card.  I glued the dress onto the milk die cut.  I cut the wings out of white card and added them to the angel.  I used Fluffy Stuff on the bottom of the dress then heated it to make it puff.  I added the angel to the background using mounting foam.  I cut the stars that are part of the Christmas Angel die set and glued them randomly around the background.  I cut the Wishing You Peace, Love & Joy sentiment out of a piece of silver card on top of a piece of white card.  I used the bottom white card as the backing piece for the sentiment then glued the words to it.  I added it at the bottom of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are     6 3/4"  x 7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Wishing You A Beautiful Day

Hi there my crafty friends!  I have a few more window cards to share with you.  For this one, I cut the Window die out of white card and added mounting foam to the back of it.  I cut a piece of cobalt blue card to use behind the window.  I added a small gloss white circle in the corner for a moon.  I cut the sleigh and reindeer in black and glued it across the moon.  I used the village scene from the Christmas Cottage Scenes die, cut in white, then glittered with Diamond White glitter, across the bottom of the window scene.  I cut a larger piece of white card and added a blue striped "wallpaper" at the bottom cut from the Dots 'N Stripes paper pad.  I taped the widow scene to the card, then added a cat sleeping on the window ledge.  I cut the Wishing You A Beautiful Day sentiment out of black gloss card and glued it below the window.  I cut the vase from the Windowsill Accessories set and added three red flowers, then glued it next to the sentiment.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Peace on Earth

Hello crafters!  For today's card, I covered a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet.  next, I cut the Timeless Winter Snowflake about six times out of white card.  I laid each of the snowflakes down as close as possible to each other, without overlapping them.  I trimmed away the excess from the edges, then coated the piece with Diamond White Glitter.  I cut the Vintage Crystal Snowflake out of both black and silver mirror card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the silver die cut.  I cut a thin frame using circles dies and added a white backing to the frame.  I cut the Peace on Earth sentiment in black and glued it inside the frame, then added it to the middle of the snowflake.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi bloggers!  Here is a clean and simple card using a die from last years Christmas release.  I started with a piece of antique gold card.  I used a swirl stamp and a clear Perfect Medium pad and stamped it all around the edge of the card.  Next, I cut the Peace sentiment die out of Gloss black card twice, silver card twice and once out of antique gold card.  I glued the black die cuts to the top and bottom of a piece of white card.  I added one layer of mounting foam to both of the silver die cuts then attached them to the card above and below the black die cuts.  The last Peace sentiment, I matted it with gold mirror card then added two layers of mounting foam and attached it to the very centre of the card.  I matted it with black gloss card and added it to the stamped background.  The card was completed with white, gold and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

So Sweet of You

Hello there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece of ruby red card and embossed it with the Padded Quilt embossing folder.  Next, I cut a circle frame with a larger out ring cut in black and a slightly smaller inner ring cut in white.  I added mounting foam to the back then attached a white backing piece to it.  I cut the So Sweet of You sentiment out of both red and black card.  I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the red die cut, then glued it to the middle of the circle frame.  I used the Rose corner die and cut four of them out of two pieces of white card.  I used the bottom piece of white card as a backing for each of the corners, then I paper pieced both red and green card into each of them.  I added them to each of the card's corners with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hello bloggers!  I have a clean and simple snowflake card to share with you today.  I started by making a couple of pieces of Enchanted Sprinkles card to use.  I used the Stormy Skies and the Tidal Teal together and sprinkled them rather heavily onto a piece of white card.  Once dry, I ended up liking the back of the card so I decided to cut my Timeless Winter Snowflake die from the back side of the card.  I glued the snowflakes randomly all over the card and then trimmed away the excess from those snowflakes that went off the edges of the card.  I cut the Peace sentiment out of both gloss white and black card.  I shadowed the white die cut with the black die cut, then added it to a white shadow backing piece.  I added it to the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
