Easter Wishes

Hello bloggers!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Art Deco Rose Swirl Embossing Folder.  Next I cut a smaller piece of white card and matted it with Blue Dusk card and attached it to the centre of the card.  I cut the Easter Basket die out of pink card.  I used Blue and yellow slats to weave through the uprights on the basket to create more of a whimsical looking Easter Basket.  I cut several eggs from the Easter Egg & Flower die set and added them to the basket.  I cut a yellow bow and put it on the handle.  Down the sides, I cut the Flowers from the Easter Egg & Flower die set in yellow, pink and blue and added green stems to all of them.  I attached them on both sides of the basket.  I cut the Easter Wishes in Blue and shadowed it in white and attached it below the basket.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

You Make My Heart Melt

Hi bloggers!  I started this card by using three of the dies from the Decorative Squared Rectangles taped together to cut into a piece of white card.  I backed it with a piece of pink card.  I inked the Old Rose Stampcut using a water based black ink pad and ran it through the die cutting machine.  I coloured the image with alcohol markers using shades of pink for the flowers and green for the leaves and stems.  I added some glue to the centres of the flowers then sprinkled Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on them.  I added the die cut image to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  I selected the  Wordie sentiment You Make My Heart Melt from the Love Wordie sheets and attached it to the side with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

Think Spring

Hi bloggers!  I started this sweet Easter card by selecting a piece of yellow dotty paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad.  I matted it in black and taped it to a piece of white card.  I cut the Easter Bunny die in white, added a pink bow tie and coloured his ears and carrot.  I added some white Fluffy Stuff to his tail and heated it until it puffed up.  I seated him on the dotty paper with a piece of grass tuft under him.  I cut the "Chip" The Chick in yellow and added a white eggshell to him.  I cut the Signpost from the Easter Bunny die set in brown.  I traced the lettering on the sign with a fine tipped pen and attached it behind the Chick.  I added two sets of grass tufts with coloured eggs as an accent.  I cut the Thing Spring sentiment out of both raspberry card and black card.  I shadowed it and glued it to the top of the dotty strip.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  7"  in size.

Hoppy Hoppy Easter

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by cutting two circular frames using the Double Stitched Circles.  I added mounting foam to the back of each of the frames and attached them to another piece of white card, offsetting them.  In the top frame, I cut the large and small "Chip" The Chicks in yellow and added white eggshells to them.  I cut the tuft of grass from the Easter Bunny die set and added them below the chicks.  I cut a small flower twig and added yellow and pink flowers to it then attached it behind the chicks.  In the lower frame, I cut the Easter Bunny in white.  I coloured the bunny's ears, cheeks and carrot with markers.  I added some Fluffy Stuff to his tail and heated it to make it puff.  I added a small tuft a grass below him and cut some Lillies of the Valley and added them behind the bunny.  I cut the signpost from the Easter Bunny set and traced the words on the sign with a fine tipped black pen.  I added grass and some eggs to the base of the sign.  I cut the Hoppy Hoppy Easter in raspberry card and glued it to the top corner of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hip Hip Hooray

Good Sunday morning all!  I got another quick and easy card to share today.  I selected a piece of Pixied card from my stash to use as the background.  The card was created using Midnight Blue Pixie Powders.  I used the largest Balloon and the outer decorative die from the Birthday Balloons die set to cut an aperture in the background.  I added mounting foam to the back then embossed a piece of white card using the Balloons Embossing Folder and attached it behind the aperture.  I cut the Hip Hip Hooray sentiment in both white and black card.   I shadowed the sentiment then glued it to the bottom left side.  I cut a balloon tail in black from the Dotty Balloons die and added it to the Balloon.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
