Just For you

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's card is a very sweet and simple one.  I started by cutting the Chloe die out of coconut white card.  I added mounting foam around the back edge.  On another piece of coconut white card, I added a sticky adhesive sheet.  I cut the Just for You sentiment from the Isobel die and peeled the backing paper off then placed my sentiment down.  I filled in with Frosted Sparkle glitterbitz then centred the sentiment behind the aperture in the Chloe die.  I cut a frame using the Double Stitched Rectangle die set and added it with foam.  Next I cut a bunch of the small flower dies from the Chloe set and added pearls to the centres and added them to several of the flowered areas in the Chloe die as accents.  I completed the card with white and raspberry mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are  6" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sweet Wishes

Good Sunday morning all!  How about a sweet treat for today's card offering?  I selected a piece of gingham paper from my stash to use as the background.  I cut a Double Pierced Circle multi layered frame out of coconut white card.  I cut a wide strip of white card and stamped my sentiment on to it.  I attached the strip across the back of the frame then attached the frame to the background. From the Treat Yourself Cupcake die set,  I used some glassine paper and cut three of the cupcake wrappers out of it (it really does look like cupcake sleeves)  I cut the tops of them out of milk card then added "sprinkles" cut out of sky blue, wisteria and custard card and glued them into place on all three cupcakes.  I added two cupcakes under the sentiment then centred the last on in the middle and raised it with mounting foam.  I cut one candle and added it to the cupcake in the back, inking the flame then glittering it.  I tied a bow out of some twine and added a clear dazzler to the centre then glued it to the bottom corner of the frame.  Blue and white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Miss You

Hi crafters!  I'm pulling out the Flora die again today for this card.  I started by cutting Flora in the middle of a piece of coconut white card.  I wanted both the die cut and the negative space left by it.  I added some mounting foam on the back of the aperture to raise it, then seated it over a piece of raspberry card.  I recessed the Flora cut out back into the aperture.  I cut an additional Flora die in white, then cut it in half and added the pieces to the edges of the aperture card.  I added small white pearls to the flower centres, then matted the card with a thin black mat.  I cut a couple of small mats for my sentiment using the Double Stitched Octagon shapes, then seated a shadowed Miss you  Mini Expression on top.  White on white mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 11/4" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sweet Bundle Of Joy

Hi bloggers!  Today's offering is one for the new Mom's out there!  I started with a piece of decorative paper from my stash for the background. I cut a multi layered frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles out of blush card and coconut white card.  I added the frame with mounting foam.  Next I cut the rattle in blush card and backed it with blue dusk card and cut the centre of the handle out.  I added a small round treat cup that I had filled with Iced Flake and white micro beads.  I sealed it with acetate and glued it into place in the rattle.   I glued the rattle diagonally into the frame.  I cut the sentiment in blush card and glued it to the upper corner.  I used the border from the set and created a blush bow that I attached to the bottom centre of the frame.  The card was completed with white, blush and blue dusk mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Thank You

Hi bloggers!  Two of my favourite things together in one card; a buckle card and a white on white colour combo (well actually it's all done in milk card).  I started with the background and embossed a piece of milk card with the Lavish Diamonds embossing folder.  I used some Antique Linen ink around the edge to shade it a bit, then added a strip of cream pearls to the top and bottom edges.  Next I cut the Ivy Garden Background circle three times in milk card.  I cut an strip of milk card the length of the card and added fork ends to it, then threaded it across the card, weaving it in and out of the circles.  I added cream pearls to either side of the strip.  I cut the centre lattice piece and backed it with a solid milk circle then added it with foam.  I cut the Thank You Mini Expression die in milk and black and shadowed it, then glued it in the centre.  I was feeling frilly so I made a cream satin double bow and added a satin flower centre to it, then glued it to the centre of the bottom edge of the card. Milk mats and layers were added to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  9 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
