A Joyful Christmas

Hello crafters!  It's time for another sentiment offering.  Next up is the A Joyful Christmas To You And Yours.  This set has been divided into two sentiments and both of them can be used together or all by themselves.  You might also notice that the Snowflake background has been used here but not as a background, but rather as two wide side borders, showing more of it's versatility.  Place your comment on this post if this is a set you might like to add to your collection.  I will return tomorrow at 6am for the start of day four.  All for now, Sue x

Start Each Day With A Song

Hello crafters!  Starting with a piece of white gloss card, I spritzd it with water ad sprinkled Midnght Blue and Purple Violet Pixie Powders all over it.  I covered it with cling film then let it dry overnght.  I cut a square of it to use as my background, then used the Scalloped Circles and cut two of them.  I added a circle cut from the pixied card in between the two Scalloped Circles.  Next I used the Double Stitched Circles and made a multi-layered frame.  I added mounting foam to the back of the frame and attached it to a piece of white backing card.  I cut the Start Each Day With A Song in black and glued it to the side of the frame.  I used the greenery from the Hummingbird set and added it around the right side of the frame.  I added pink flowers as accents.  Two hummingburds were cut out of leftover Aqua Lagoon pixied card.  I added them across the top of the frame.  The card was competed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.

Just a quick note to let you know that the June Christmas Die Release starts here tomorrow mrning at 6am!  I hope to see you back here then!  All for now, Sue x

You're Beautiful In Every Way

Good Sunday morning all!  How about a clean and simple card for the day?  I started with a piec of white card.  I used Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks across the top of the card using a smoothie, blending the colours together.  Next I attached a piece of sticky adhesive sheet to a piece of copy paper.  I cut strips of various shades of card (teal, ocean, lilac and aqua) and added them to the sticky adheisve sheet in rows.  I cut the Bold Beautiful die word on the diagonal  through the strips of card.  I added mounting foam to raise it and attached it to the centre of the card.  I used the stamps that come with the die to add two mre parts of the sentiment, above and below the word Beautiful.   The card was completed with whte mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

Let Your Spirit Soar

Hi crafters!  I started with another background from my pixied stash.  This one used Red Oxide Pixie Sparkles.  I cut five of the Square Postage Stamp Frames in white.  I added them to the background alternating between the square and diamond orientations.  I cut the let Your Spirit Soar sentiment in black and glued it to the smallest centre square.  I cut the flower from the Hummingbird set out of both green and the pixied card.  I cut away the flowers and added them to the green stems and attached them going around the sentiment.  I added two hummingbirds that were cut out of a small piece of Aqua Lagoon pixied card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
