Thinking Of You

Good morning all!  I have a cascading floral card to share today.  I started with the Wavy Mask taped to a piece of coconut white card.  I used the Silver Luna Paste through the mask and set it aside to dry thoroughly.  I used the Wildflower Triple Layering dies to create all of the flowers. I decides that it might be more interesting to assemble the flowers with an assortment of different layer colours and sizes.  I selected Old Rose, Powder Pink and White card for all my layers, but did them in different order for some of the flowers.  I used glue dots to add the flowers across the card.  Once I was happy with the arrangement, I cut a bunch of the top layers of the leaves out of white card and tucked them around the flowers.  I used the Thinking Of You sentiment cut out of Old Rose card and glued it to the upper corner of the card.  The card was completed with Old Rose, Powder Pink and white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.

Sending Mermaid Kisses & Starfish Wishes

Good Sunday morning all! A pretty mermaid card is in order for today I think.  I started with a piece of Ocean Card and used the Moonlit Storm Luna Paste through the Wavy mask (one of my favourites!)  I matted it with silver mirror card and white layers after it dried.  I cut a small Square frame using the Double Stitched Squares and added it with foam to the centre.  I cut a wide flag using the Stitched Flags and seated the Mermaid sentiment on it.  On the left side I used the sitting mermaid from the Mermaid Kisses die set.  I cut her out of both milk card and Seafoam card.  I inked the seafoam lightly with Peacock Feathers and used clear embossing powder  on it to give the body a shiny finish.  I inked the milk card with Tea Dye for her hair and used Antique Linen for the arms and a little bit of Worn Lipstick for her cheeks.  I attached the shiny body to the other mermaid and added her to the side of the frame with foam.  I ran some double sided tape around the edge of a slightly larger piece of Ocean card and glittered it with Ice Blue Polished Silk Glitter.  I added the piece with the mermaid with foam to the centre.  Thee card was completed with white and silver mirror card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Happy Birthday

Hello all!  Don't try to adjust your screen for colour as today's offering is black and white and silver.  I started with the Tina triple Layering die and cut two of them with black as the top colour, then silver and a white base.  I attached those to the edges of a separate piece of white card.  next I cut two more of the Tina die with a white top, a silver middle and a black base.  I added these on the inside of the other ones with a bit of mounting foam so they were stepped up from the sides.  Next I cut the Jocelyn die in white and backed it in white.  I cut a thin border frame out of black card and added it.  I attached it in the centre with foam and added the Happy Birthday Shadowed sentiment in the middle.  I cut the words in black and used a silver shadow.  I accented it with some small flowers made from the Petite Forget Me Not centre dies.  The card was completed with white, black and silver mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

On Your Special Day

Hello there my crafty friends!  Even though the April die launch is complete, I thought I would share a card made with one of the matching Stamps To Die For.  I used the Lace Heart Stamp and stamped it randomly in a sort of square pattern.  I then used the Double Stitched Squares to cut out a frame.  Once cut I inked it with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink. I cut a wider frame out of white card and attached the stamped frame to the top of it.   I embossed a piece of coconut white card with the Scrolled heart embossing folder and attached the multi layered frame over it.   Next I stamped the Lace Heart STDF again on to white card.  I cut it out with the outer die from the Woven Heart and while still in the die, I inked it with Worn Lipstick Oxide ink.  I removed it and added it with foam inside the frame.  I cut the On Your  Special Day sentiment and glued it across the heart.  I cut the Wedding Couple in black and added it with foam to the side of the frame.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are
 7 3/4" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x
