A Very Merry Christmas To You

Good Sunday morning all!  I selected a piece of dark blue card and embossed it using the Stylized Poinsettia embossing folder.  I cut a smaller piece of the same dark blue card and matted it in red an attached it to the card.  I cut two if the dies from the Opulent Baubles die set in red card that I glittered using the Fire Red Polished Silk Glitter.  I backed both of the baubles with Ruby Red backing pieces.  I added them to the card and used the dotted string from the Bauble Branch die to "hang" them from the card.  I added some greenery to both the baubles form the Foliage Pieces die set.  I added several of the clear Water Crystal as accents.  I cut the A Very Merry Christmas To You sentiment in white and glued it to the background below the focal elements.  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.    All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and all that visit.
The dark blue cardstock used is so expensive looking it has that luxurious sheen that sings extravagance so to use the red for your baubles is a beautiful mix. I use those 2 dotted string dies all year round if I feel my project needs it, it's so simple but so pretty and so very useful.
Another gorgeous picture perfect treat this Sunday morning and when you show us inspiration such as the past few festive ideas you shared, who cares that summer is still upon us lol bring on more stunning ideas for the winter and festive months.
Love to all and free hugs waiting at the door for anyone that may need one xxx

Hi Sue. Love this really opulent-looking card today. It looks as though it would be quite easy to re-create but it still looks so special.

Thank you to everyone who sent congratulations yesterday. I still can't believe I have won all those wonderful dies and I can't wait to receive them. I am sure they will help me find my crafty mojo again.

Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning.I am in a Quandary this morning ... I love the card ... It's gorgeous ... But I am not sure about the colours for the design. If you know what I mean. Maybe I could try optional shades and take it from there. Thankyou Sue.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏.
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

Hi Sue, a very stylish card in colours that I would not necessarily think to put together in this way but it makes me want to try. The Stylized Poinsettia embossing folder is a gorgeous background for the lovely baubles.
