Wild About You

Good Sunday morning all!  I started this card by embossing a piece of black card using the Pebble Rush embossing folder.  Next I used Harbour Haze Matt Chalk Polish lightly over the top of the embossing.  I stamped the Zebra stamp and cut it out with the matching Zebra die.  Using Distress Markers, I coloured the image using Vintage photo for the frame and Antique linen and Tumbled Glass to colour the zebra.  I cut a Cut Corner Rectangle out of white card and added it at an angle to the background.  The zebra was added next on top of the rectangle but more upright.  I stamped the sentiment and frame from the Wild About You clear stamp set and cut it out with the matching Safari Tags die, then added it with foam to the card.  I completed the card with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, enjoy your bank holiday weekend is it the only one we share?
To the point Steph to the point....... do black and brown go together hmmm not sure, but every sample you share with your safari animals I can't help fall in love with their face, they all say something and are absolutely gorgeous, I'm beginning to think you'd make the biggest snake or most scariest of tarantula look Disney like lol, that's the reason we are "Wild about you" whatever you share with us is amazing. Enjoy your Sunday lovely friends xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful graceful animal the Zebra is and that is portrayed here on this lovely sample, I love the brown frame around it and then on the dark embossing folder, looks so lovely.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue
A beautiful card with the lovely zebra and I like the cut square rectangle set at an angle but the thing that has really caught my eye is the pebble rush embossing folder so I will go and do a quick internet search for it

I love this Zebra! When my grandson was younger we actually had a Zebra that lived down the road from us. When Noah would come over he’d get excited at seeing the Zebra so close to Gramma’s house and he would pronounce the word Zebra as Weez-ba. It was so cute so when I see your sweet cards with the Zebra, it takes me right back to precious memories. I really need to buy it even if all I do is create a scrapbook layout titled The Weez-ba!
