Swimming By To Say Hi

Hello crafters!  I'm going vertical for today's ocean filled card.  I started by cutting the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Trio Aperture in white.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it slightly.  Next I used the Turquoise Cascade Watercolour ink and dabbed it with a piece of kitchen roll onto another piece of white card to give it the look of water in the background.  I attached the aperture trio over it.  Using the Fishbowl die set and the Underwater Accessories, I cut the castle, seaweed, and small fish and seahorse and added them to the openings.  I used the Swimming By To Say Hi sentiment cut out of aqua and black card in the centre aperture.  I used the small wave from the Nautical Accessories in the lower opening and added the seaweed and larger fish to it.  I made a white frame to go over the apertures using the Slimline Essential Frames.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x 9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and all Particraft addicts you're so lovely and caring. I need to learn to get to the point instead of going on and on like I did, I'm sorry. Anyway how cute is this little beauty, I know a little girl that would light up if she saw this and instantly make up a story around the dies you used, it really is a cute way to start the weekend and a bank holiday - wooohooo no workmen till Tuesday!!!!
Sending love swimming your way, have a good one xxx

Hi there Sue and all.
A lovely card and one that I don't have any of the dies for unfortunately. I've been looking for a die to show water so I'll come back later to have a second look at this one of yours and see if I can steal something from it. You never cease to amaze me with your talents and the inspiration that you generate.
Thank you Sue.

Good Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes. What a fun card this morning. I see this aimed at the younger ones in our families. I think they would love it with all the little sea and water creatures you have added to it. Lovely idea.
STEPHANIE. Don't apologise, I can't speak for everyone ... but personally ... I love your posts so keep them coming. You make me laugh. And why should you apologise for that. We need to have a laugh just now.
Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
