Have A Magical Day

Good Sunday morning all!  I started with a piece of white card and sprinkled the Teal Marine Pixie Powders all over it then spritzed it with water.  Next I cut the Slimline Stars Background out of white and black card.  I used the black die cut as a shadow behind and slightly offset behind the white die cut.  I glued it over the Pixie Sparkle background.  Next I cut a piece of white vellum and wrapped it around the top of the card.  I cut the Have A Magical Day in black and glued it to the vellum.  Using the Dandelion Clocks, I cut some of the pieces out of the leftover Pixie Sparkled card and added them randomly on the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.
The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9 1/4"  in size.       All for now, Sue x

Hello Sue, fabulous card. The black shadow really gives dimension in this sample. Before reading your post I looked at the photos and I thought you had used dimensional paste especially in the first close up. Looking forward to seeing you again on our TV screens tomorrow.

Hiya Sue. I've read your method several times and then thought 'how did you think of this' how did you put it together first in your mind then transferred it to something as lovely - I'm not sure if I'm making much sense so in a nutshell where does your idea start, I can sit for an hour thinking and still only come up with a maybe it will work kind of design, as gorgeous as this inspiration is it's kind of a different Sue Wilson my cards are always saying "made by Steph" think I'm stuck in a rut. So I'll send lots of love to you all and hope everyone has a lovely day xxx

Good Morning Sue and all.
Another beauty!. Like Steph says, "Where do you get your ideas" Do you ever get halfway through making a card and then scrap it? I don't think so.
Anyway, this one is really beautiful and I love it.
Have a good day.

Hi Sue and everyone, i think todays card is I big hit with everyone and I have to say I love the starry background too. The card just pops with the black shadow and I wasn't sure what you used for the sparkly pops until I read it was the dandelion heads, fab look. The card looks so dimensional yet is pretty flat for posting too. Jan you are so right, it would make a great Christmas card too and Steph, I know what you mean, I had an amazing card in my head the other day, but on creating it didnt turn out anything how I hoped haha.
Looking forward to seeing you on our screens on Monday Sue and Jamie, he's defo one of my fav card makers after you of course.
Hugs Donna xx

This card is a sort of non traditional card so I really like it a lot. The stars and the little starburst type embellishments make it feel like a celebration! I especially like the starburst (I don’t know what to call the) in lieu of flowers. Great idea!
