Celebrate

Good Sunday morning all! Today's card is a really easy paper pieced card.  I started wih a piece of card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it.  I peeled the backing paper off and coated it randomly with polished silk glitter in a host of colours.  I applied them on a diagonal just to give them a more windswept look to them.  Next I cut the Celebrate Big Bold word and cut it in white.  I glued the outline to the shadowed backing also in white.  Next I used the Celebrate Big Bold Word die to cut into the glittered card.  I removed all of the fall away pieces.   I glued the glittered letters back into the outline.  I mounted the entire word on a black backing to help make the words pop a bit more.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/"  x  8" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue and all. One of the biggest advantages to this collection of mahussive sentiment dies is that for our new crafters here they can try a lot of your easy backgrounds plus paper piecing as you've done here, it will give so much confidence, plus they are totally ideal for quick and easy CAS (clean and simple) cards for any age or gender. Whatever plans everyone has for this Sunday, hope it's a lovely one xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, this is one of my most favourite things to do in crafting, paper piecing - it is amazing how some things seem to be so easy to one person but so confusing to others isn't it, what a lovely world we live in when we can all share our creations and advice. Sue we certainly get lots of that here on your blog. thank you so much. xx
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. Nice to see a card using the big bold sentiments using more masculine colours, and I also like to see that you can even get away with using glitter for it too.

Good Morning Sue. Fabulous ... if anyone needs a quick card ... here it is. And the best thing about it is ... a change of colour and you have a fantastic man card ... which many of us crafters often struggle with. If you don't have the glitters, the guilding flakes would be good too ... haven't used them for ages. But for whoever and whatever the occasion ... this can be trimmed up to suit anyone. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏.

Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds
