Hello crafters! I started today's card with a piece of white card. I used
Spiced Marmalade Distress ink around the edge of the card, then added in a little
Mustard Seed and finished the outer edges with
Black Soot. After making sure it was very dry, I inked the
Beaded Flourish 2 stamp with a
Clear Perfect Medium pad and stamped it all the way around the edge of the card. I used clear embossing powder on it then heat embossed it. Next I stamped the
Giraffe stamp twice and cut them out with the matching
Giraffe die. I coloured the giraffe and leaves on one and just the outer frame on the other one. I used
Distress Markers to colour the image. I nipped away the coloured frame and added mounting foam to raise it above the edge of the first die cut. I added a piece of white card behind the giraffe that I lightly sponged yellow, pink and blue ink on to before attaching it behind the giraffe. I stamped the sentiment and tag stamp then cut it out with the
Safari Tags die. I coloured it with
Distress markers and added it to the bottom of the card with mounting foam. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x
8 1/4" in size. All for now. Sue x

Hiya Sue. Its incredible how colouring and shading can completely change the look of a subject. Today's beauty definitely looks female and may I add very sassy, that saucy look could mean anything lol she's so pretty and she knows it, go get em girl (dont forget the social distancing though) lol
Hope mothers day was as special as it could be the 2nd year of video chats and phone calls,but it wont be too long before it all changes provided the nation follow advice and guidance.
