Get Well Soon

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started today;s get well card by cutting the Slimline Stitched Oval Aperture Trio in white.  I added mounting foam to the back then added a piece of ruby red card behind it.  Using the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Frame die set, I made a multi-layered frame with a wider ruby red base and a thin black frame on top which was cut out of the Slimline Essential dies.  Using the Feel Better Soon die set, I cut the band aids out of taupe card (they really do look like real band aids, don't they?) and added them to the upper aperture.  On the lower aperture, I added a thermometer and a pill bottle.  I used the Stacked Get Well Soon cut twice out of white card and then added a black shadow behind and glued it to the centre opening.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and all that visit i hope no-one needs a card like this today but if you do I'm thinking of you.
Like a lot of your 'children' I invested in this die but I've never used it to it's full potential but now you've given us the slimline and aperture dies its giving that great base to show them off if that makes sense. I really hope I'll find myself in the position to buy the slimline dies one day cuz that will mean I'm back at market and helping make people smile. Sending love to you all, stay well xxx

Good Morning Sue and all.
A great card to start the day. Wouldn't it be lovely if all we needed was a band aid,
I haven't seen these dies before but they do look effective.
Have a good day.
Hugs.

Hi Sue. Aren't these dies with apertures really great for displaying the smaller die cuts which would otherwise have got lost among larger die cuts. i am sure anyone who is under the weather would welcome a card like this.
