All Geared Up To Celebrate
Hello crafters! I used the Brick Wall embossing folder to emboss a piece of slate grey card. I used some Gathered Twigs and Black Soot Distress ink to distress the background. I used a knife and cut an opening in the background. I curled the edges of the cut card backwards and added a piece of silver mirror card embossed with a stencil behind the opening. I cut the Ferrari from the Super Car die set out of black gloss card. I added white card behin the windows and added it so it appeared to be bursting through the wall. I cut the Cog border from the Assorted Tool Border set in black and added it below the car. I cut one more and just used a few in the upper corner. I cut the All Geared Up To Celebrate sentiment out of silver card and added it to a white shadow backing die cut. I added it with mounting foam to the upper corner of the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 7 1/2" in size.

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a great sample this is, when you see the close up photo's you can appreciate all the detail in the car, stencil and background areas, I am going to have a try of this. Gorgeous, would make a fabulous card for someone who has just passed their driving test and been given a car to drive.
