Miss You
Hello crafters! I made a pixied background using Candy Pink and Burnt Orange Pixie Powdersfor today's card. I covered it with scrunched cling film. I used the centre die to cut a small aperture in the middle of the card. Next, I cut the Wrapped Pearl Frame twice in white. I glued them both to the centre laying one to the top of the other one so you can see both of them. I cut the centre tag in white and glued it around the aperture. I added mounting foam to the back to the background to raise it and added a piece of white card behind it. I cut the Miss You out of a leftover piece of the pixied background and glued it to the centre of the aperture opening. I cut a single Pierced Layered Flower in white and added a centre cut from the background card as an accent. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

I've looked at todays inspiration for a while and I'm afraid my feelings mirror Kitty's feelings, I'm not sure about this, I'm not sure if it's the background or because it's flat, I'm just not sure but it's not one of my favourites, sorry Sue.

Hi Sue. Love that background colour, but I am afraid that my feelings for the card are similar to those of Steph and Kitty. I can understand that you would want to show off as much of that background as possible, but I think I would trim it down to nearer the size of the die cut frame which may result in a more balanced composition - sorry
