Thinking Of You
Good Sunday morning all! I cut the Wood Grain Plank Background out of Slate Grey card. I used Black Soot Distress ink around the edges. I cut the Flower Pot die out of Chestnut Brown card. I used Gathered Twigs Distress ink and shaded around the flowerpot. I cut just the top of the pot again and added it with mounting foam after inking around the edges. I cut the Layered Zinnias in two shades of pink and cut the stems and leaves in two shades of green. I assembled the flowers and added clear micro beads to the centres then added the flowers to the flowerpot. I cut the Thinking Of You sentiment in black and glued it to the top of the card. I cut two white butterflies from the Dainty Butterfly die set and added one to the lip of the pot and the other one to the top of the sentiment. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 7 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all lovely ladies that visit.
Oh Sue I wish I was making as many cards these days as I was this time last year because without a shadow of a doubt I'd be ordering this lovely collection of plant pot and all the flower dies you launched at the beginning of the year, I wonder if I'd have more luck doing spring/summer designs inside various sizes of shadow boxes, there's a great deal on local to me... hmmmm I HAVE to do something with my time, I'm spending far too much time doing nothing because it's too cold for me to leave the house, so I'm literally decaying lol that's what these lumps are, I'm decomposing from the outside lol what a brilliant reason to spend a little saved craft money on a couple of shadow boxes and a couple of your first January 2023 new collection, yup you've tempted me with today's really beautiful inspiration it's absolutely gorgeous xxx
Love to everyone and stay safe if you've had a big snow fall, and if you've woken and you don't feel well I'm sending soft warm gently hugs to you xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, the slate grey is a lovely background for the flower pot, flower and sentiment, such a beautiful card which by adding a different sentiment can be used over and over again, you could easily batch make them and then add the relevant sentiment on afterwards, brilliant.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue
A lovely card. I love the flower pot. In fact it was the first of this launch that I just had to buy. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to use it yet, but I am looking forward to doing so. It will be so versatile with many different flowers and sentiments.
Love Helen xxx
