Easter Wishes

Hi bloggers!  With less than a month now until Easter, I thought I had better put some more of my Easter cards up on the blog!  I selected a piece of striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad to use for the background for today's card.  I cut a white frame using the Clipped Corner Rectangles and added mounting foam to the back to raise it and attached it to the centre of the card.  I cut the signpost from the Easter Bunny die set out of chestnut brown card.  I used a fine tipped black pen to trace the lettering on it.  I cut the grass patch and eggs and added them at the bottom.  I cut both the large Chip and the baby Chip from the Chip The Chick die set.  I added white eggshells to both of them and added them inside the frame.  I used the flag from the Celebrations Shadowbox die set and cut them in raspberry, orange and bright yellow card.  I glued them to a piece of Bakers Twine and attached it across the top corner of the frame.  I cut the Easter Wishes sentiment out of raspberry and black card.  I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the raspberry die cut and glued it above the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue and all blog friends that comment today.
Another lovely cute, sweet Easter card. When I use to do market before the world got ill I use to make a few cards both religious and otherwise but I'm not sure how many people exchange or give Easter cards although there's always a section full of cute and religious cards in our local shops but if I didn't put any on display I'd not get asked if I had any with me so the jury is out, to give or not to give, that is the question.
Sending warm friendly hugs to all that need one today and love to all xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh Sue this is absolutely gorgeous, even down to the black pen to emphasize the sign post words, so beautiful, I think this is one of the best Easter cards I have ever seen. It is on my list.

Hi Sue, I love this card and it is next on my list to make but with a few adjustments as I don't have the Clipped Corner frames or the Celebrations Shadow Box. I will see which other frame suits best and I can easily make my own bunting. My Chip and Bertie cards are not just for children, some are for grown-up children :-)

Good Evening Sue. So sorry it's a late post today. We have been busy getting our broadband package sorted.. They put it up by 15 pounds per Month. It's outrageous. So after quite a few phone calls we got them down. We threatened to cancel and go with someone else. They knocked our bill down by 30 pounds How can this happen .
Lovely card Sue and thankyou. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏 .
Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.
