Always & Forever

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started by sponging several colours of ink randomly onto the background.  I used Fossilised Amber and added a touch of Picked Raspberry Distress inks.  I used the Double Stitched Rectangles and cut a smaller white background and added it to the centre of the card.  I used the Layered Apple Blossom flowers and cut them out of two shades of pink card.  I added yellow centres and flatback pearls to the full flowers.  I cut the leaves and stems out of two shades of green card.  I assembled the flowers and arranged them mostly on the bottom of the white background.  I cut the Always & Forever sentiment in black and glued it to the top of the card.  I added a single flower  with a bud and leaves in the upper corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

A very spring like post - not sure on the background but only as I find yellow quite hard to use so easily changeable. However there is always a recipient that will want this beautiful card no matter the colour. Still loving these new dies...

Hi Sue
Happy Friday everyone x
Can’t tell you how delighted I am to be greeted by this beauty today. I fell in love with this card when it featured in the recent launch and hoped it would have its own special moment so we know how to (attempt) to recreate this work of art. Your gorgeous layered Apple Blossom flowers are perfectly partnered with those pretty spring-like colours. Love this card x
I’v been missing for a few days so I hope everyone is well x
Take care one and all x
Sending you all positive thoughts x

Hi Sue, a lovely card and although I wouldn't have thought to mix the two colours used it somehow works so I think I have to be more adventurous.

Hi Sue. I really love all the layering dies that you created in the previous launch. I do usually have my favourite types of flower but I am finding it difficult to choose a favourite among the new launch. Love the background too which gives the effect of out of focus foliage behind the flowers.

In the hustle of our daily lives, we often overlook the simple pleasure of a delicious meal. Good food is more than sustenance; it’s a celebration of life’s flavors. From the first sip of a warm coffee in the morning to the last bite of a decadent dessert, every meal offers an opportunity to find joy. Amidst life’s chaos, these culinary moments become our sanctuary, reminding us of the sweetness that exists even in the most ordinary days. https://nishnushnyc.com/tribeca-restaurant/
