Missing You

Hello crafters!  I decided to use up some of my scraps to create the background on today's card.  I selected powder pink, old rose and silver shine card and cut them into one half inch strips.  I used the outer shadow die from the Missing You die set and cut an aperture in the middle of the striped background.  I added mounting foam to the back t raise it and added a piece of white card behind it.  I cut the Noble Missing You die out of silver card and glued it into the aperture.  Using the Pierced Summer Blossoms, I made three flowers, glittered them and added pink centres to them.  I seated the flowers around the sentiment and added a white Bauble Branch to the bottom of the flowers.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Soft, muted colour palette. You would never know that these were strips, even if you look closely at the cut edge. WakeyL

Hi Sue
Happy Monday everyone x
This is such a soft, beautiful colour combination. So pretty. A prime example of why we should never throw away any left overs. A justification for our ever increasing scrappy stash. Love the effect when you recess the sentiment. Love it x
Today is a momentous day - first day of 2023 where I have a line full washing hanging out. Always makes me happy 😆
Take care one and all x
Sending you all positive thoughts x
