Just A Note

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started with a piece of Pixie Sparkled card from my stash.  I used Groovy Grape and Teal Marine Pixie Sparkles on this one.  I cut the Flower Pot out of Papyrus card twice.  I cut the top of the pot off on one of them.  Using Gathered Twigs distress ink, I sponged the edges of the pot and the top.  I added mounting foam to the top of the pot and added it onto the other pot die cut.  I used a white pencil and shaded then centre of the pot.  Next I cut the Layered Iris with Wisteria and Iris card.  I cut the leaves and stems out of two shades of green an assembled them.  I arranged all the stems, buds and flowers and glued them in place as if they were planted in the pot.  I cut the Noble Just A Note in black and glued it above the Iris.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Oh Sue this is just adorable, I quickly skipped through the days I missed and for some reason I had the biggest lump in my throat, I'm so extra sensitive when I'm not 100% anyone else a total tearful mess at the slightest thing lol, I think the messages upset me too.
I agree with the other girls, this would certainly stand out amongst all other cards on a ward and bring much attention to its delightful beauty. I have so much to enjoy here today, looking at all the new designs and dies. 3 weeks of sheer beauty.
Thanks to all that left a message over the past few days. You are all as special as this loving caring blog. Love to you all xxx

Hi Sue

A very striking card. As others have said it is much more than a card and would perfectly adorn any wall. Love how you’ve shaded the plant pot too.

Love Helen xxx

Hi Sue
From the gorgeous pixied background to the beautifully shaded flowerpot, your card is a work of art. The flowerpot is now part of my collection but I’ll never be able to make it look as good as yours

Love and hugs to everyone
