Hello crafters! Since we have just launched our new
Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Tints recently, I thought I would share a card I made with them! In fact, our Gwen Fletcher is doing a show on Create & Craft this week on the 15th with them! I started by cutting the
Happy Big Bold Word die out of black card. I glued it to a piece of clear acetate. Working from the reverse side, I used the
Pearl Tints to fill in all of the letters. The colours I used were
Chateau Rose, Blue Diamond, Racing Green, Canary Song and Heavenly Pink. I covered a piece of white card with a
sticky adhesive sheet, then peeled the backing paper off and coated it with
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I cut a frame from the
Clipped Corner Rectangles and added it with mounting foam to the
Happy die (once the pearl tints were good and dry). Next I added the frame piece to the glittered background. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a tag die, then added it to the lower corner of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

A wonderful card with it's Pearly tints. It has that quiet and peaceful look that I really love. I do wonder where all the inspiration comes from and I think I might just stagnate if you didn't wake me up.

Hi Sue. What a simple but effective card. The pearl tints must be really good because you can't see the foam pads through them where they have been stuck onto the glittered sheet!

Hi Sue after 12 months of staying behind doors, I have 2 wonderful happy hours with our small family and I'm full of cold which due to a weak immune system finishes with pneumonia and intravenous antibiotics, so feeling rough I dozed off before I popped in but I'm wide awake and loving today's inspiration. All I pray for is the day I can start collecting the only dies I've ever asked for over the past how many years its been since you started designing these beautiful crafting tools. I really love these oversized sentiments. A change of colors and you have a card for anyone for so many occasions. This card says “Spring” even though it’s a birthday card.
