It's Your Birthday, Go Wild!

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by pulling out the Tina Layering die and the new Pebble Rush embossing folder.  I embossed a white card using the Pebble Rush folder.  Next I cut the Tina Layering die using a white top layer, a black card middle layer and a Gemstones gilding flake backing piece.  I did two of these and attached them to the sides of the embossed background.  I stamped the Giraffe stamp and cut it out with the matching Giraffe die.  Using Distress Markers, I coloured in the giraffe.  I stamped the sentiment from the Wild About You clear stamp set in black, then lightly sponged some blue, pink and yellow around it.  I attached the to the giraffe so the sentiment was centered in the lower corner, then trimmed around it.  I added the giraffe to the background with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.     The finished dimensions are   6 3/4"   x   8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Well hello.
I feel we're being welcomed to Tuesday with a very sultry manner by this beautiful young lady, those eyes just draw you in.
Personally and its just my opinion, I feel the greater the skill in shading and colouring the more we get from this safari collection, the animals colours are so specific and their face has such personality, being artistic with colour pencils or any colouring medium brings the perfection to cardstock, its adorable or should I say "she is"

Love to all and stay safe xxx

Hello there Sue.
A gorgeous card that I may make for myself for tomorrow. Or maybe a different card with the same sentiment. I don't think I've ever been 'a wild thing' but tomorrow is my 90th Birthday so maybe I should do something WILD.
I really do love the Giraffe so I'll leave your picture of her on my PC screen and have her there for the day. If I do that, I can use the time it would take me to make a card to tidy up in case anyone comes.
Have a great day everyone.
Marie P.

Hi Sue. What a good idea to use the Tina die as an accompaniment to the patterns on the giraffe as I think they work so well together especially with the colours you have chosen.
