Good Sunday morning all! I thought I would share another card I made using some of the April die release. It's a rather clean and simple card, but I liked it! I have been playing with the new Watercolour inks and I'm loving them! I used
Lime Sherbert and Jade Sparkle Pearlescent Watercolour inks here randomly on the card and then spritzed lightly with water to spread them a bit more. These do need a bit of time to dry though as they have been designed to have a long open time so you can move them around. Once dry, I stamped the corner with the
Elemental Swirl stamp in black. From the
Bold Shadowed Friend Die/Stamp Combo set, I stamped the sentiment "Amazing" and mounted it just above where I cut and added the word Friend to the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning everyone we have a beautiful clear blue sky and sunshine even if it still on the chilly side, to go with the great weather we find this fabulous card from Sue, I love playing around with inks and watercolours you just never know what you are going to end up with, I love this blend and how the stunning flourish enhances the corner, sometimes simple can be just as striking, if not more so, as all elaborate cards.

Hi Sue. I had to smile when I saw this card today with it's bright, pretty colours. Despite the fact that you are so well known for your dies and die cut creations, you have only used one very small die on this card which lets the lovely inks do all the talking.

I too love the watercolour inks and have recently purchased ‘a few’ ahem! Put it this way, my mum bought me a door mat that says ‘Please hide parcels from the husband’ !!
Anyway, they do make lovely, unique backgrounds that require little else for a stunning card. They’ve even inspired me to try my hand at painting which is so therapeutic!
Thanks Sue for all your ideas, designs and inspiration. You’ve brought card making to a whole new level.

Hi Sue, a beautiful CAS card and I love the background. The colours of the Pearlescent Watercolour inks are gorgeous and although you have only used two it looks like more the way they have blended.

I appreciate a clean and simple card, especially one that looks like you spent time creating a beautiful card. Creating with watercolor is always fun! Playing with watercolors to have a stash of card bases makes a clean and simple card a fast card too. Who doesn’t love the ability to do a clean, simple and fast card!
