Retail Therapy

Hello bloggers!   How about this fun retail therapy card! LOL  I started with a piece of white card and used the Beyond Blue Pixie Sparkles all over it then spritzed it with water.  After it was thoroughly dried, I used the Slimline Essential Frames to cut a large frame.  Next I used the Slimline Decorative Rectangle Trio Aperture and cut it out of white card.  I used the centre fall away from the Pixie Sparkle frame and glued it behind.  I added the frame with mounting foam over the aperture trio.  Next I used the Retail Therapy die set and cut two shoes out of black gloss card and glued them in the top opening.  I cut two nail polishes and a lipstick and glued them into the bottom frame.  I cut the retail therapy sentiment out of white and added a black shadow.  I glued that into the centre then added small versions of perfume bottles and a shoe underneath.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9 1/4"  in size.

We are starting the April die release blog launch tomorrow morning just to let you know!  There are eleven dies in this release including some new Stampcut designs!  Hope to see you bright and early tomorrow!   All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue if there's one great reason to keep a sheet or 2 of black gloss cardstock this is surly it, oh those shoes look amazing when cut in black gloss - I also use it on designer shoes too lol black and red soul so much cheaper than the real thing lol, there are one pair of shoes with platforms and ankle straps I dont use, they look like they're to uncomfortable to wear 'all night' if you read between the lines (apologies to those friends that wore those way back when)
I just love this set and used it so much for market cards, they are much loved by crafters and buyers of our work so thank you and i look forward to watching what you have for us tomorrow.
I loved reading that those friends we've seen here for many years are now feeling human again and recognising that face in the mirror again lol we're getting there slowly but carefully xxx

Hi Sue, a brilliant card especially for all those fashion conscious ladies out there. I too love the black gloss shoes although they are something that I would never be able to wear as I would probably fall over and break an ankle lol. I was able to get my hair cut yesterday but here in Scotland we have to wait another couple of weeks before we can have some much needed retail therapy although on Friday my k & k friends are looking forward to at last meeting up in the park again weather permitting.
Looking forward to the new launch tomorrow and seeing what your amazing creativity has in store for us.
