Happy Bird Day

Hello bloggers!   I started with a white background and cut the Birdcage die with a piece of white card on top and a piece of Arctic Blue card underneath.  The white card cut the entire birdcage while the blue card just cut the outline. I cut the Parrot out of white card and used markers to colour him.  I glued the parrot to the blue backing piece then glued the birdcage die over the top.  I cut a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Ovals.  I cut a wider white base and a thinner black frame on top.  I attached the piece together with mounting foam and the attached it to the backgroun.  I added the birdcage into the centre with mounting foam.  Using the Hibiscus die set, I added three red flowers accented with green leaves to opposite sides of the frame.  I cut the Happy Bird Day sentiment from the Parrot die set  in black and glued it to the bottom left side of the birdcage die cut.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"  in size.
