Hello crafters! I have a shaped easel card to share with you today! I started by cutting the House Front Shaped die out of aqua card. I cut it again out of slate gray card and nipped away the roof areas and glued them to the aqua die cut. I added some curtains from the House Accessories set to the back side of the windows using some decorative papers from my stash. I also added a wreath and bow to the door, a flowerpot, a dog and cat and the decorative swag which I glittered. To create the easel part of the card, I cut the backing piece twice out of white card. I cut one of them as a double card and folded the top part of that card in half. I attached the single backing piece to the decorated house then glued that to the area below the folded part of the second backing card. I had to create a "stopper" for the inside of the card to hold the house up when opened so I used the second part of my sentiment for it. I cut the Here's To New Beginnings in white and glued it to the top of the roof on the outside of the card. I used the "Couldn't Be More Excited For You" cut three times out of black card. I glued all three together which gave me a bit of height to hold the edge of the house card when opened. I added two small topiaries on each side as accents from the House Accessories set. The finished dimensions on the closed card are 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" in size.

Hi Sue. I need these dies. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of inspiration I really love the colours you chose for this. I'm trying to get more 'hand friendly' storage for my dies and waiting for another delivery of transparent bags, but I need to check my craft account because I can't have both plus it's launch day tomorrow - oh Sue what are you doing to us lol.
