Good Sunday morning all! I hope you enjoyed the rather quick March die release from the past few days! Today's offering is the
Beach Sunset Stained Glass. I started by cutting the
Bubbles Background out of black card. I backed it with a piece of white vellum. I cut the centre ring of the die in white and used it as the backing for the main element. I cut the
Beach Sunset die in black and added a backing made from
Burnt Orange and Lava Red Pixie Powders. I layered up the pieces and attached them with mounting foam to the middle of the card. I cut a multi-layered frame using the
Double Stitched Squares. I did a black base layer and a wider white frame on top. I added it with foam over the background. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7" in size. All for now, Sue x

The launch was lovely and I do hope the nerves lessen with each new collection you design as you have a worldwide following as a stand alone designer.
We've not done a great deal of long haul travelling mainly a few European holiday destinations in Greece and the Spanish islands and the sunset has been amazing but hand on heart the most memorable has been the time we stayed at Indian Rock Florida looking out with a dozen shades of orange and a vivid crimson with the odd streak of yellow, I'm so pleased the photo came out, but as we all know by photographing our work photo's never do something beautiful justice, your stained glass sunset is incredible takes me back to Indian Rocks (if only) xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, when I look at this I can almost feel the heat coming off the sky, the pixie powders make such a wonderful combination of colours, perhaps one day I might get to visit such an island, well I can dream can't I. A gorgeous sample.

I definitely enjoyed the die release, short but very, very sweet.
I love everything about this card. The vellum works perfectly behind the bubbles background. The colours are gorgeous and the frame works so well to finish it off.

Todays card sample is wonderful the sunset colours are amazing and the layers around set it off perfectly. I just love the pop of colour against the black and white layers.
