Thank You

Hi bloggers!  I wanted to share another of the new Slimline stencils with you today!  I started with the Lattice Swirls stencil taped to a piece of white card.  I used the Honeydew Matt Chalk Polish through the mask in a light circular motion.  It dries very quickly so I removed the mask and added a multi-layered white frame over the top that I created using the Slimline Essential Frames.  I cut a Decorative Flag die out of white card.  I used a bit more of the same polish and coated a small piece of card and cut the Thank You sentiment out of it.  I glued it to the flag and added the flag die to the middle of the short end of the frame with foam.  Next I cut the Cosmos Flowers, cutting the solid flower out of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it.  I peeled the backing off of each flower, then added the matching white outline Cosmos Flower to it, then coated the remaining exposed adhesive with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I made and assembled three different sized flowers and added them in opposite corners of the frame.  I cut the Lace Edged Leaves and Dandelion Clocks then used them as accents around the flowers.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9 1/4"  in size.

Don't forget to check back later this afternoon as I will be doing the drawings and posting the list of winners for each of the dies from the blog launch!   All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue and all that pop in this Friday. I've never been a lover of anything green whether it be sweets (candy) savory etc but love my green veg, but the shade you chose for the background is really pretty and subtle, the honeydew matt chalk is really lovely, is there a cardstock to go with the Matt chalk I really need it for when I get back to my little craft room. What I really really love about your new slimline dies is that you are inspiring us to bring out our Latte cups our tiny garden tools, and our smallest of floral dies, those smaller shadow box accessories have been waiting for your slimline frames. My die box is going nuts, it's like Toy Story lots of excitable dies all waiting to be introduced. This makes me even more excited at the thought of starting the farmer's market again so I can start to offer customers something different, if they are happy then I'm happy, it's a nock on effect starting with you, your designs, and your inspiration, thank you.
Good luck everyone and remember once today is over please don't be a stranger to Particraft its lovely to see so many visitors from different countries. STAY SAFE KEEP CARING xxx

Hi Sue
Well it’s been an age since I last posted (beginning of October)! I feel like a ‘Newbie’ x
I have been poorly and have had a challenging few months. Won’t bore everyone with the details but I can’t tell you how delighted I am to be back and able to comment. I have missed you x
What a beauty to greet me upon my return. I love love love this card. Firstly - DL - I have always loved DL cards. Love the look of them, love receiving them and love making them. So, you can probably imagine my delight when I saw your new dies. My heart skipped a beat with excitement!
Everything about today’s card is perfect. The colour is so soft and beautiful. There is something about green that I find so calming. Love those chalk polishes and they look gorgeous used with those amazing new stencils. You have delved into the past with the lace edged leaves - always love to see a little blast from the past.
Can I wish everyone good luck for this afternoon’s draw. There are going to be some very happy winners x
Once again I just want to say it’s good to be back. Here’s hoping I won’t be taking a 3 month break ever again. I am actually hoping that I will be back in the happy land of card making as well very soon - stranger things have happened! Watch this space x

Love the new Slimline style of cards. We all can't make and mail huge cards so a pretty alternative is very needed. I don't really care for A2 cards either so this new size which fits in a business envelope is a fresh idea for a smaller card.I have been making them, even some Christmas cards, and really enjoy something different.
This is very pretty. I probably will have to get all the stencils. The one used here is lovely. A beautiful card.
