Butterfly Stained Glass

Good Sunday morning all!  This is a bit of an older card, but I found a folder with a bunch of stained glass cards that I did for an HSN show that had never been posted and really liked this one!  I started with a piece of card that I covered with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing paper off and coated it with Sunlight Speckle Gilding Flakes.  As usual, I used my rubitscrubit pad to move the flake around and the refine and remove any excess flakes.  Next I cut the Butterfly Stained Glass die in black and glued it on top of the flaked card.  I cut it again out of white card and then used the fall away pieces and glued them back into the picture.  Using the Double Stitched Rectangle die set, I cut a thin frame out of card with the sticky adhesive sheet added.  I peeled the backing off and coated it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, then added it with mounting foam around the stained glass die.  I completed the card with black and white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good Morning Sue and all.
A beautiful card Sue and I actually have this die along with the Humming Bird and another one that I can't remember. I have never used any of them and had forgotten all about them. I love the way you have presented this one and will look out for it later in the day.
Thank you for the inspiration Sue.
Hugs.

Good Morning Sue. This is a lovely card. I like it I like the colours ... I like the designs ... But ... I have to admit the stained glass series was not one of my favourites ... But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy looking at the lovely designs that have been made with them. Just not for me ... Sorry Sue. Thankyou. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
PLEASE STAY EXTRA SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏
