Hello crafters! Welcome to the first die release blog launch of the new year! We plan on doing the releases a bit different this year. There will be more releases (more or less monthly), but smaller in size, with probably the exception of this first one. After speaking with many of our stockists, we have found they would prefer it this way! The January release is focusing on our new Slimline collection and a brand new concept idea called Stampcuts, which I will tell you more about later on. We are, however, doing the releases in the same way with the die giveaways based on drawings made from those that comment, so no change there! Yeah! So, like usual, I will ask that you leave a comment on the posts that you would like to be entered into the drawings. Please make your name memorable in some way so there is no mistake who has won the die; add your last initial or town that you live in or even make up a funny alias (I love those!) I will do the drawings and announce the winners on Jan. 29th. Be sure to check back then!
We are starting out with the Slimline Stitched Rectangles Frames first off. I will admit that I am really in love with this slimline shape and have found card making a breeze with them too! These have a lovely stitched detail and the dies can be used as matting or as frames. If you like this one, just leave a quick comment on this post. I will be back at 12 noon for the next offering. Morning Sue and all that visit. There's one word that describes this set and that's useful. It's a beautiful sample too it's a picture of a lovely little Robin family which would also look perfect mounted behind glass as home decor.

A great start to your new launch. Very useful and practical dies. I used to often make DL cards but make more square cards now. I can see that changing again now though.... I like the idea of more regular releases, we’ve missed them recently. Im looking forward to seeing the new stampcuts too. I have to say I will have everything crossed on the 29th as it’s my birthday. Narrow rectangular dies are always very useful. I have some old Spellbinders rectangles but yours look much slimmer and taller. Excellent!

Hi Sue, love the beautiful card you have chosen to start the launch with. I like making DL cards but it is always difficult to get mats/layers/frames to suit (or cut straight!) so this new slimline collection will fit the bill perfectly. I too look forward to more frequent but smaller collections, much easier on our purses :-)
