Let It Snow

Good Sunday morning all!  I thought I should share this cute little snowman card with you!  I started by stamping the Denise's Snowy Night STDF and using the die that matches it from Denise die set.  I used Distress Markers to colour it and then added Iced Snow to the snow, roof line,  trees and sky area using dries clear glue then sprinkling it on to dry.  Next I cut the Let it Snow shadowed sentiment out of  Petrol Blue card and black, using the black as a thin shadow.  I mounted it onto the matching shadow die which I cut in white and glued it to the sky area of the stamped image.  I made a square frame by cutting the Ruffled Edged Frame in white, then cutting it down and reassembling it into a square.  I added it to a slightly larger piece of white card and used Dries clear glue all the way around the edge of the card.  I added Iced Snow and allowed it to dry, giving a sparkly edge to the card.  It was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Oh Sue thank you for a magical start to my Sunday, the winter scene the cute snowman, the village cottages nestled into the fir trees and the icy looking background all surrounded by the gorgeous Ruffled Edge, it's adorable and I don't feel I need to add anything else although I could because you and everyone that visits regularly know I never know when to stop....... xxx

Very pretty and there is something about that stamp that I really like - some scenic/vintage styles are always a bit twee for me but not this one

How charming is this little scene with the jolly snowman in the foreground and the rustic little cottage in back. Very nice and as everyone has said the Ruffled Edge Die frames the scene perfectly.
Everyone, have a peaceful Sunday,

Hi Sue, I get the feeling that colouring STDF is your 'relaxing, go to' after a busy day explaining to most of us how to put together one of your masterpieces. The colouring is delightful. I know that practise makes perfect, but not in my case.
Such a pretty card Sue. Thank you. Hugs xxx Pauline
