Love the way the lacey edges look with the gold peaking out from underneath. Looks like a piece of expensive lace. Working this weekend but starting my Christmas cards next week so really glad for the inspiration. Recording you today so I can watch when I get home. Have a wonderful weekend.

Morning Sue. Just started catch up on the 8pm show last night, so grateful to be able to record as I knew I'd end up dozing off, it seems part of my routine due to the amount of meds I have to take ! The new angel die along with the pointsettia stamp was a beauty to start your collection of shows with and looking forward to spending the the rest of the day with you.
Apart from the gift card stocking and Holly Octagonal Frame set, these are the only two of this year's release I've got, so I shall have to work with what few I managed to save up for last year for this year's cards.
Today's card is so pretty, it just goes to show that we don't always have to reach for the greens and red's or the other 'traditional' festive colours although they do bring a lovely 'pop' of colour to our cards. What with the video tutorial, catch up, putting Lottie's birthday card together, thinking of a design for her parents card, I was thinking of doing a 'congratulations you made it through the first year' card lol plus stock up for next market AND the book of horrors I should be starting AND doggy training, I'm not quite sure where to start if I'm honest ! So for now, I will send my congrats to Judy for being another new addition to the Wednesday Winners Club, you won't believe just how stunning they are in real life so enjoy 😊
I will watch what I can today Sue but your definatly recorded ready for when I can find time to sit and enjoy learning from you. Have a great day at the studio and I'm sending a hug to take with xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh WOW I love this card, and that is without even watching the video which I will do later, not sure if I have all of the dies, I think so, might not have the striplet one??? but will check that out.

Watched your catch up show this morning on Hochanda, beautiful angel die you used, another one of my favourites and you do know that it is a tradition that you design a new angel every year and liked it when you said you had a few ides in your head (wish I could get in there) haha!!

Just finishing off some batch cards that I saw John Lockwood doing on his show, still got lots more to do. My flu jab yesterday went fine, no problems.

Sue I hope this is ok to put this on here because I was over the moon last night to read that we have a new craft show coming to Detling, Kent in May 2017, it is going to be a big one, I hope you and all the CE team will be there, would love to see you again.

Deb - so pleased that you have got a care home for your FIL, I hope when you see him on Sunday that he has settled in OK.

Helen - happy stripping...........well you know what I mean......my hubby is glued to the ryder cup too so we are both golfing widows.

Pam - I agree about the traffic around Stonehenge, it is a beautiful place and needs to be preserved. The Poole Yacht Club, wow that sounds nice, I remember going to a restaurant a few years ago overlooking Poole Harbour it was a beautiful sight. Now that Yacht, shame about the price or we could have hired it for a week
of crafting, wouldn't that have been nice. Bournemouth is a lovely place to visit, will you be watching some of the marathon today. Safe journey home tomorrow xxx.

Norah - So pleased the tilling is done and you only have the finishing touches to do. Don't worry about the thickening of your grey hair, mine is the same.

Princess Pixie - you are famous as you were mentioned on Sue's show last night.

My thoughts are with Tina and Mick, Elaine and Andrew, Tracy and anyone else I have forgotten.

Congratulations to Judy enjoy xx

Tina T so pleased that Peter is OK and treatment is progressing, yes it will be slow but we are all routing for you both, stay strong my friend. Yes it is October only another 12 days to go now, am I counting - what do you think xx.

Off to watch the video now,

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

This is another one i will have ago at making as i think i have all the dies to make it. I made my own version of your Tuesday card with the striplet angel and it turned out beautifully. Thanks for all your inspiration and your great videos. Congrats to Judy on winning Wednesdays beautiful card i am sure she will treasure it forever. Another great show lastnight and have everything ready to record your shows today just in case i miss anything lol. Your sample cards were gorgeous but i did think your gift card card is out of this world, i did think the candy canes were just the right finishing touch. Hope you dont mind if i pinch your idea for some of my christmas cards. Have a great day doing the things you love to do on Hochanda today.

I really love what you have done with the border die here. It takes a back seat nicely to the main focal point but not so much that you miss it. The small pearl additions to the border are delightful. I must start using pearls on my finished projects. Milk and gold card - an excellent marriage! Thanks.

Really enjoying your Hochanda shows so far Sue. Particularly like the Pixie/glue, heat until bubbles technique. Thanks.

Elegant card, Sue, not at all like a Christmas Card apart from your sweet holly corners. Really lovely and thanks yet again for the video.
Pleasantly surprised to find Hochanda on 85 yesterday, so just caught your show - as inspirational as ever - and not only Yvonne but her full title too mentioned SO early on. Whatever next - we'll not be able to cope with her crowing ha ha!!
PP... looked up scabby roasties but only got 'potato scab' so your fame not yet recognised in that direction.
June, Laine, Lorraine - yes furbabies fine thanks - but brother Pippin cried all day without them, he has a while to wait yet for his op. They have their own room as too little to meet the big gang (or until they get homed!)
Torrential rain woke me last night, so got up at 4 and made the 104th birthday card - square nobles, butterflies and an all white poppy with extras. Took 3 hours, mainly because of mess and can't find a thing. Pleased with it though and it's fairly tough and tactile which was the aim.
Well done to Elaine and to June too for their fab sums raised for Macmillan.
Pam - enjoy your last day, safe trip tomorrow.
Well done to Judy on the card win.
Hugs all round, especially our poorly people. And Wheely.

Good evening lovely sue and her crafty crew!

Yet another stunningly beautiful example of your talents....I wish we could have enough time I the day for you to film a demo for all of your Christmas cards, I enjoy them immensely and we have so many of them to create each year that inspiration from the queen of craft is essential. I love the elegant simplicity of this card, the colour palette is warm and sophisticated and the holly ornate frame is simply divine....I'm anticipating both these die sets in next weeks shows and look forward to not only buying them but getting more ideas from yours and John's samples.
What a fun packed day once I'd got the housework out of the way, spent the afternoon watching back to back recordings of your shows, bliss:-) The ODS were fabulous and I splashed out on all the dies apart from the Angel....just to explain myself, I love all of your dies but have never been keen on angel dies for some reason, a decision I lived to regret when I saw some of your samples throughout the day:-(....I loved the poinsettia collection in particular, especially the stocking die which offers so many possibilities my mouth is literally watering. Your demos were informative, innovative and each sample was stunning....the pixie powder demos were great. I found one thing disappointing though, you happened to mention "your friend" Yvonne not once but TWICE during the course of your shows!??! Dearest Sue, you do realise that she will now be totally insufferable with an inflated sense of self importance....you obviously felt sorry for her and wanted to redress the balance after I was clearly the star of the show on the Ally Pally programme but what you failed to realise was that I take fame with an air of class and humility whereas PP will take it to mean that she is somehow superior, a superstar even:-) She took no time at all in crowing about her perceived status to me and I dread to think what she has in store for me when we next speak, my ears will bleed mark my words:-)
I'm so sad the shows have finished though and that we have ages to wait before we see you again, nobody demonstrates as professionally as you do in my opinion.
Pam, hope you enjoyed your final day and have a safe trip home tomorrow. Hugs
P, poor little Pippin, do you think that you will be able to part with them because they sound adorable.....and you're so intuitive, Yvonne will be a nightmare now that she has reason to believe in her elevated status:-(
Hugs to elaine&andrew, tina&peter, Tracy and Tina& mickxxxx
Special cuddles to all my besties, hope you're having a great weekendxxx
Peachy bums time again, off to watch Strictly then X Factor:-)

Hi Sue. Sorry for my absence again. I have just had a really bad week. Today's card is absolutely stunning !!! Your video is fab !!! I love how you layered up your Holly Peace dies. It has produced a really beautiful Lacey look, and the coconut white and gold card goes so lovely together to. A really elegant classic looking card. I think the Poinsettia border at the bottom of the card in white with the white glitter is again, just so elegant and classy looking and is fab with those lovely little pearls heaped together on each flower. A great finishing touch to use the tiny holly leaves from the set to embellish the corners to. Such a beautiful Christmas card. Thank you.
I have to say that yesterday's double Christmas cards were also really beautiful. I love them both. I have managed to watch all of your fab shows on Hochanda yesterday and today. You know folks it's not what you know it's who you know. What can I say? Me and my celebrity friends . . . .
Well October is here and so is the colder weather! It has been wet today and the temperature has really dropped. Thank goodness there was something decent to watch on telly!
Elaine - I am so glad that Andrews treatment has begun at last and he is feeing OK. Well done on the fundraising x
June - your op is going to come round so quickly. You will be like a new woman x
Deb C - great news about your FIL. Let's hope that he settles in quickly as I imagine that will be a relief and one less thing to worry about x
Pam - sounds like you have had a lovely holiday. Quite fancying that yacht to holiday on with some of my close celebrity pals. Lol. Safe journey home x
Norah - you have been incredibly patient during the tiling - keep smiling x
Helen - did you enjoy stripping? Lol x
Tracy - I have a large flat cardboard box for my pixie powders it contains all the mess. Were you tempted to get anymore after watching Sue?
Tina T - I'm glad you had a well needed meal out on your anniversary x
P - a girl has to have an air of mystery so the scabby roasties recipe is a secret x
Laine - have I dropped you as a friend since I became famous? I think not! Bitterness will eat you up my friend. Suck it up and move on. I introduced you to my celebrity friend Sue so show a little respect. I even gave the 'staff' time off during your stay so as not to appear too ostentatious. Ran your bath and cooked what your heart desired so you need to let it go or you will be under the stairs when or should I say if you come again!!!
So it's bedtime I think. I hope everyone enjoyed today's Sue shows. If you haven't seen them yet you are in for a treat x
Sending love to everyone specially Wheely, Maria, Maureen, Myra, Lesley S, Fluffy, Lorraine, Tina and Mick and any of my other blog beetles that I have overlooked - forgive me, it's late x
Take care

Hi Sue and everyone

A beautiful serene and elegant card today. Not had chance to watch the video, but will later.

Been a busy day. Managed to watch Sues show from last night and a couple of others. Yvonne got a special mention I see, not once but twice. ... good for you Princess Pixie.

Lorraine, thanks for your comment regarding the stripping. I managed to do the small one and part of the long one, but my heart wasn't in it to be honest. I will finish it tomorrow. Then sand them down. Have a poorly shoulder at the moment so everything is more of an effort.

Thanks June for the Happy Stripping comment. I hope you are not experiencing any side effects from your flu jab. Yes, I too am definitely a golfing widow. Hubby played today, I took him, went for petrol, them food shopping, but then came home and caught up on on some of Sues shows while cutting out dies. Very enjoyable. Hubby got drenched at golf, then went to on to a pub as usual. He phoned to tell me what time he'd like a lift home, but unfortunately as I went to answer the phone I slipped and fell, knocking everything off the little table that the phone was on, and ended up on the floor. The table lamp still looks a bit battered, but not as much as I feel! Oh well, at least I landed on my 'good' side and not my poorly shoulder. Only thing is the other side is not so good now! I managed to hurt my hand, wrist, elbow, knee and hip and my neck feels odd. Hopefully a good nights sleep will help.

Pam, hope you enjoyed the last day of your holiday. Safe journey back home tomorrow

Congratulations to Judy on your beautiful card win.

Love Helen xxx

Hello Sue,
Very sorry I'm so late! I have managed to watch two shows so far on my iPad! Last nights Show and the 9am one today! Both watched on Catch up as Internet wouldn't cooperate last night!
The Shows I saw were brilliant and your demos as ever First Class! As for your gorgeous samples - well - so many ideas! I loved what you did with the Pixie Powders, glue and heat gun! Will definitely try that one! Also loved the poinsettia stamping demo with the angel and poinsettias!
Beautiful card today ! Love it .
Love to everyone!
Oh - Deb C - I'm so pleased you found a Nursing Home for your FIL . These decisions are never easy . Will pray that he will settle there and that you will be happy with his Care!
Pam - Safe journey home! Hope you had a lovely holiday! It sounds as if you did.
Love Myra xx

Thank you, "June Smith" I will look at You Tube.
It's very frustrating as on my old computer the video came up in the blog post.

Thanks again,
Sue.
