Hi Sue, what a stunner, beautiful peace die love that its vertical. Lol lynne m x x x x

Well had another lol day yesterday ( lunacy of lynne) cuz it was the dreaded time of getting poochies fur cut. To say they do not like being groomed is soooooo totally an understatement. They loathe it, I keep trying to get them to be more girly and like the pampering but no not them. So began the torture , me trying to get them to stay still whilst they wriggled like worms doing their best to get away. Its a good job their groomer is so good with dogs. After what seemed like MONTHS they were done. Would they stay still for a photo like heck they would, as soon as they were off the grooming table they were gone. The lol ( see above for definition) then kicked in as I was determined they would stay clean so hubby could see , I spent the rest of the day chasing the little blighters all over house and garden to make sure their coats stayed clean. Mega fun for poochies totally knackering for me. So much so when hubby came home said look at poochies don't they look good and now I'm going to bed for a lay down. Daft man said why what have you been up to - aarrrgggghhhhh took a very very deep breathe said give me strength and walked away. Taking it easy today if little b's let me but knowing them it will be another pulling out hair day !!!!!

To all my wonderful friends have a great day and if you are in pain or need take as many hugs as you need I have mega lots ready to give away lol lynne m 'n' on my last nerve devious divas x x x

morning Sue
Sue you have made my day! I had decided and bought two of your C.dies (Noel and Joy) to use for this year's season. But when I saw today's die I just could not believe how gorgeous it looked and just had to have it!!
Today's gift is just so sumptuous and states so very bold what we all want around the world 'PEACE'!!!!
Having a Grandson who has served in Afgan and faced war every day this is most important for me and for all the other Mums/Dads/Grandmums/Granddads/All members of families want. We needs all our boys/girls to come home safe and sound.

Norah - we managed very well loading up etc. I only had to wait 20mins before I got the first 'I don't know where I'm going to put all this' but other than that it was quite painless!
The unloading at this end went quite well too. Shall have to keep my eye on Mr.E just to make sure he is well!!

Sandra - hope you're feeling better this morning. I know just how you feel when someone encourages you and builds your hopes up and then at one stroke flattens you completely - Oh how I wish people would engage brain before opening mouth.

Cardio visit went well - have to go again in three weeks and fingers crossed if all as yesterday then annual visits and annual Cardio MOT at my local surgery. It will be three years post HA.

It's a sorting/putting away craft day today as haven't had time since we returned Monday evening. It's also Mr Es day out so peace and quiet for me to plod along.

Hope everyone is feeling a little better this morning. Stay safe and see you tomorrow.
Janet x

I love your beautiful elegant card, it's so striking in black and white. I think even I could have a go at this one. I would also like to say what a wonderful creation John Next Door created with your dies , and it great to see he's been selected to the C/E design team. He's been a champion of your dies.
Have a good day.

'P' in Wales

Greetings and hugs to Heather T and all those with problems of whatever kind.
Lindsay - so sorry about your aunt - you think they'll live for ever. My own aunt will be 102 next month and has recently gone into a care home as she now needs hoisting for everything - we have been to see her and it's nice but she would really rather not be there - or anywhere. Unfortunately it's 250 miles away so frequent trips not possible, but she has lots of caring people nearby and grandchildren (she lost her two lovely daughters with cancer).

Good morning Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes,
What a beautiful card Sue, so elegent in the black and white. I know i am not a big black fan but this looks so lovely in the monochrome. The peace die leaves a beautiful die cut, so i think this one will need to climb the need list as what a beautiful statement that it makes and could be used for our non Christmas believing friends without upsetting their beliefs. Oh Sue, please don't bring anymore out the now as i am still struggling to finish off set 1 of your dies not to mention set 2 and the Christmas selection that are all a must.
Pam i tried to find Robbie on that place yesterday and i don't know what i was doing wrong but i couldn't find him. I shall just send the hugs to you to bring you strength and then you can pass them on to Robbie.
Pat S(Whitney)- i hope that you are enjoying your holiday but remember the sun tan lotion as we don't want a fried Pat.
Diane(withchips)- Great that you are filling up with inspiration while being kept, although i am hoping that you will be home again soon.
Oh Lindsay i am so sorry to learn of your great aunts death. I bet she was fun with all the stories that she could tell from her youth. It is the one regret that i have that me old aunt didn't survive long enough for my children as she was a comic(she was the umbrella wielding champ from a previous story). Sending you a gentle hug flower as i know that you are in pain and i don't want to make it any worse than it already is, but i'm thinking off you.
Janet(Ecco)- I am sending you some power hugs flower to keep you going this week as it seems that you are going to be very tired at the end of it and i hope that you will have had some positive news and progress.
Alimecca - a nice warm bath with radox salts in can work wonders for aches and pains. Hope that the decorating goes to plan so that you can sit back and enjoy your new surroundings while crafting.
Tina flower, you let your mind wander as much as it wants and let ours have you in it. Sunday would be like it happening all over again and all though he is at peace next to your mum, you are still hurting. Sending a hug down your way just to let you know that we are thinking of you.
You know i have been reading through Sue's blog for a wee while now and on reflection some doctors have a lot to answer for. They botch things up and go on to the next hoping that they can do a better job but not even a backward glance at the devastation that they have left in their wake. You come on thinking that it couldn't have happened to someone else to find out that it already has and there is nothing we can do about it. I just wonder if they were made to face up to their blunders and take responsibility for their actions if they would actually learn and not make the same mistake again. How would they cope if the shoe was on the other foot and it was them that was left to survive what ever way they had to? OOOO i have got my dander up today about them and my knickers are well and truly in a twist about them this morning. And i am luckier than most as i can still walk, snail pace perhaps and with my sticks, but i still consider myself lucky. Yes chronic pain, useless lump most of the time, but i can get there slowly. The physio gave up on me when he realized that it was painful(agony would be more appropriate) but it could give me back some of the movement that i have lost, but to him there is no point if i am going to wince every time he twists my legs or arms into ridiculous positions. Anyway moan over but i wonder how many of our Wilsonettes actually can relate to what i am saying about the "caring" profession.
Sending hugs to all the wonderful Wilsonettes and Sue for your kindness that you show to me each day in your thoughts and hugs. You truly are an amazing bunch of people,
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil, grey but dry)

Hi Sue and hi to my Wilsonette friends that meet up each day to enjoy the delights that wait for us.
What an elegant stunning but simple card that says it all. If only the world was full of it. Apart from layers, this is all that is needed as the word dies make the card so special.

Sandra, I really hope that you can get some treatment sorted soon, something that gives you some life back. There are a few of us here that can really understand and know just what you are going through and how you feel, so we will always be here to support and help you if we can, should you need, just ask without worry or fear.
Thinking of our Sister Wilsonettes that feel sorrow. Pam, hope you are making some progress sweetheart and still resting and gently pottering !
To the many special friends I have made here, I hope your day will be kind to you with less pain and frustration.
Thanks for the wonderful time and inspiration you give us each day Sue. I sure do value you and Particraft. Have a wonderful day, need any help cleaning your craft room so you can swim and shop ? Lol
Love to my friends.

Yesterdays card was soooo elegant too. Just beautiful. The Rows of Bows EF is beautiful and along with the Peace die....and all the others....is on my please, please, can I have list! Lol! "Thank you so much Sue" For all the inspiration that you give to us all. Sending lots of love and hugs to you and your family xx Lyndsey, so so sorry about your aunt xx Lynne, I'd give up on the divas ever being ladies and resign to the fact that you have a pair of tomboys in your hands! Lol! Thank you for the laughter xx Sending lots of love and hugs to Lyndsey, Lynne, Yorkielass, Lynda, Norah, Sandra, Pam/Robbie and all our wonderful Wilsonettes who are hurting today xx Take care everyone and "good luck" everyone on the Wednesday card giveaway! xx Love Karen xx

Stunning as always Sue, I will sit down and watch the video later, when I have a rest!
Thank you to all my wonderful friends on here sending me hugs and wishes on my great aunts passing, she was a lovely lady, had lots of lovely stories, a wicked smile, and even played tennis at Wimbledon many years ago!
Sandra I hope you can move forward from the useless medical profession, I had them tell me that they would get me walking normally down the aisle on my wedding day, two hours later they said sorry you will just have to live with the pain for the rest of your life, I was only 20 at the time!
So pleased that Cameeli and Steph are sounding more their normal selves again.
Lynne, those for
A of yours keep you bust and us in stitches with their feminine (not) behaviour, definitely a pair of tomboys!
Well love to all my friends on here you are all so special to me gentle hugs to those in need and those that just feel like a hug for no reason today xxxx

hi sue, a really, really beautiful card, i love black and white, i watched the video on you tube and as a result i have made at least two dozen cards using the splendid peace die which i am the proud owner of, i did the let it snow at the same time as well, i used three striplet dies behind and also the striplet that has the heart at either end, these i had to cut into two make them longer and when i had positioned them you couldn't see the middle and i have done them in many soft colours, they look wonderful, so many many thanks sue for your wonderful inspiratation, love to all J

Good afternoon all - I have just read the comments since I posted this morning and I have to answer Norah.
Before I was finally diagnosed with MS on one visit to the doctors (not my usual doctor) did tell me that I would have to learn to live with the pain and discomfort I was feeling. Thank God I saw another doctor who referred me on not sure where I would have been if I had just listened to him. I agree I wish they could just sometimes be accountable and listen t the patients. Rant over sorry Helen K xx

Evening Sue and everyone! I have watched the video and what else can I say then absolutely wonderful card
Have a few friends who not celebrating christmas so the peace die will be my next buy but not until Nec. Norah-my youngest stepson needed a plate in his arm after breaking/splitting his humorous after armwrestling just for fun.The surgeon cut a nerve by doing that and 2 years later and 3 operations his arm is scared for life and his hand is as best as it can be but never back to normal. This make me worried every time you need something done like needles in your spine or similar.Enough of that, glad all went well for you Steph and that you getting on with things! Hope you had a nice outing Brenda. Lynne-Tilly and Cully must look gorgeous tho after their haircut lol, give them a cuddle from me. Do belive it I actually got some cutting done today yay, thing is if I continue my arm gonna look like one of popeye's and that would be weird :-) Have a good evening. If in pain, special hugs to you.
Hugs Maria x

Hi Sue,
Lovely card once again! So difficult to find new things to say! I love the black and white and like yesterday's card it is so elegant. I don't have this die - but it's moving up the list! I love the Joy one - I do have it and it is gorgeous too.
Lindsay - sorry to hear about your Auntie - some Aunties are just so special. Thinking of you.
Just to say - no kitchen table and chairs as yet! We have tried! We even agree about what we are looking for just haven't found it as yet! Had a farmhouse style table before but we do not need anything as big as that now. Thank you all for being so kind.
fluffycat - I just cannot get the picture of this cat knitting out of my head! You see to me it has it's tongue out in concentration and it's specs have slid down its nose as it concentrates on K1 P1. - see what you have done!
It's been a long day - think I'd better stop!
Special hugs to those in pain and suffering stress.
Also to Robbie, Rory , Sam and Baby Leo.
Love Myra

Hi Sue,
This is truly beautiful and elegant. I tried to buy this die today when I escaped from decorating for an hour. Unfortunately, my local little craft shop in Durham had sold them all, but, in did manage to get the dotty itty bitty bows and the gorgeous pine bough, so I suppose I shouldn't be too upset.
Norah thanks for the advice! Will have to give it a go. Had a better day today as the paint ( ordinary silk emulsion ) went on like a dream, hence we could manage a little excursion into Durham. Well only 5 more rooms to go plus the staircase which is a nightmare. Love and hugs to everyone of you lovely people. Love Alison xxx

Please excuse me Sue, but this is for Myra P.
Myra, I love your mind picture but it is more likely me with the tongue out and the glasses slipping! Honestly though, a long time ago, my only girl cat at the time (the one in my icon) would always sit on my knee when I got home from work and wanted to do some knitting. She was so used to it she ignored the needles and only occasionally played with the wool until one night she sat differently and I had to knit round her rather than over her. As she watched intently I found myself describing what I was doing so I really was teaching her lol

Good evening Sue and everyone
What a beautiful card Sue and such a wonderful message to send. We can but hope that one day there will be peace in this world of ours.

Such a day today had to rush one of our corgis to the vets this morning, she has such a 'pity me' look so has been lying next to me all day needing gentle pats, but I think the worst is over, she is starting to look a little easier so fingers crossed.

Warm wishes and hugs to all who need them.
