 Morning crafters!  I have chosen one of my favourite Christmas cards for this Monday morning.  This is probably my number one choice of all the new bauble designs.  I simply love this scene, it is so vintage looking.  I stamped the Newsprint Holly background (designed by Sam Poole) using a clear perfect Medium pad on to soft gold card.  I heat embossed it with gold detail powder for a tone on tone look.  I wanted to give it some texture, so I embossed it with the Holiday Magic embossibility folder, repeating it for an extended background.  Using milk coloured card, I cut a frame using the  Majestic Labels Twenty Five die and leaving a wide margin around the edge.  I added mounting foam to the back and centred it over my gold embossed background.  I stamped the Scene Bauble on milk card twice.  The first time, I used a clear perfect medium pad and heat embossed it in gold.  The second time, I stamped it with a Black Archival ink pad.  I die cut the first one with the matching Heirloom Ornament 2011.  The second one, I hand cut around the scene in the centre of the bauble.  I inked the edges with Antique Linen and added some detail to the scene with the matching marker.  I mounted it on foam and attached it to the centre of the die cut ornament.  I added the ornament to the middle of my frame with a tag stamped with my sentiment.  I used a piece of metallic Bakers twine and a small pearl on my tag.  I tied a double bow out of cream silky crush ribbon, added two pearl stick pins and a metallic gold satin rose for the centre.  I attached the bow with glue dots to the side of the frame.  I finished the card with double mats of milk coloured card with a paper pierced inner layer.  Now that is my idea of a Christmas card!  Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 1/4" in size.  Are you ready for another video?  Tune in tomorrow!   All for now, Sue x
