You're Egg-stra Special

Hello bloggers!  Today's card started as a way to use up some of the fall away pieces.  I had cut the Happy Spring loads of time for previous cards and saved the outline die cut so I used them here for the background,  I selected a piece of soft lavender card then glued the Happy Spring die cuts randomly all over it.  Next I used the Layering Eggs to cut a thick egg frame.  I covered a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet to it before cutting.  I peeled the backing piece off the egg frame and coated it with Snow Sprinkles.  I added mounting foam to the back and attached a piece of white card.  I cut the bunny from the Easter Essentials die set in white.  I filled in the face with a fine tipped marker and added some pink for the ears and cheeks.  I used some Fluffy stuff for the tail.  I cut the You're Egg-stra Special sentiment out of soft lavender and added it above the bunny in the egg frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
