Happy Easter

Hello crafters!  I started by cutting the Layering Eggs die set.  I used five different sizes to create this egg.  I cut one in Heather card, one in lilac card and one in soft lavender card and layered them up.  I used the last two dies to create the white frame around them and I added it with mounting foam over the layered eggs.  I created the scene using one of the middle sizes of eggs but cut out of white card.  Using the Snowflake Edger die, I cut the grass at the bottom of the scene  (The die is usually used for icicles, but works great for tall grass!) I cut the Chocolate Bunny in white and added a purple bow and pink ears and nose.  I used a fine tipped marker for the other detail.  I cut several small eggs from the Easter Essentials set and added them to the grass with the Bunny. I added the scene to the eggs then attached them to a piece of white card.   I cut the Happy Easter sentiment and added it above and below the focal element.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  9 1/2"  in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh what a gorgeous card today with the bunny surrounded by an easter egg frame, even down to the grass at the bottom with what looks like small flowers or even easter eggs hidden in the grass. A Masterpiece.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs June Smith xxx
