Congratulations On Your New Home

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by cutting a piece of white card and taping the Stone Wall stencil to it.  I used Weathered Wood distress ink though the stencil to give the background a rock wall look.  Next I cut the Window die out of tan card.  I cut a piece of white card the same size as the window and went to work on the Living Room.  I cut the chair and lamp out of tan card and glued them into place,  I coloured the picture scene and hung it on the wall in the top right.  I cut the small table out of taupe card and added a potted plant and a candle on the table.  Using the Decorative Scalloped Border die, I cut a valance out of aqua card and glued it to the top of the window area.  I cut the Window box from the Window Dressings die set out of brown card and filled it with green foliage and seated it under the window.  I cut the Congratulations on Your New Home out of both tan and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment and glued it to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x
