Keep It "Reel"
Hello bloggers! For today's card, I cut the Woodgrain Planks Background out of tan card. I used some Walnut Stain Distress ink around the edges of it. next I cut the Fishing Frame die out of tan card, I nipped away all the elements from the frame so I could use just the frame for the base of the card. Next I cut the Fishing hat out of brown card. I inked the edges and added it to the upper corner. I cut the canoe from the Fishing Essentials set out of dark brown card and added it leaning against the left side of the frame. I cut the Fishing Rod die out of white card and inked the handle and lure then added it above the canoe. I cut several cattails, coloured them and added them behind the canoe and in the right lower corner of the frame. I cut the bucket out of red card and filled it with fish, then added it to the bottom of the frame. I cut the Gone Fishing sign from the frame and added it to a stake, then glued it into place on the frame. I cut the "Keep It "Reel" sentiment in brown and shadowed it with a black die cut then glued it into the top inside the frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 7 1/4" in size.

Hi Sue and all that visit today.
Hope everyone is well and coping with this dreary weather in the UK, thank goodness for the Olympics to lift my spirits a little.
A welcome idea for those of us that are being asked for cards for the fisher people in customers lives or our own family, we have no-one in our family that enjoys this past time. I have to turn my work space upside down as I've either lost, misplaced or thrown my fish die away! So at present im fish less and in need of a few fish what an absolute fish brain I am !
Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow's blog and sample has to offer.
Take care everyone.
Me xx
Good morning Sue an all Wilsonettes, another wonderful example of using the fishing dies, mine arrived so will have a play when I get a chance. I enjoyed the Trivia although I am such a dunce I only knew a couple of them, and yes you were correct for the 2 questions I asked you, they brought back wonderful memories of Ally Pally.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
