Enjoy Your Day

Hello crafters!    I selected a piece of pink and white stiped paper to use as "wallpaper" for my window scene card.  I taped the paper to a piece of white card (since it isn't that thick).  Next I cut the window die with two pieces of white card and added mounting foam to the back of it.  I used the bottom white card that didn't cut but rather embossed the design onto it as my guide for the inside of the window.  I cut the sun from an older set called Rain Or Shine and glued it into the upper corner.  I cut the tree from the Swing Tree die set out of tan card and cut three of the leafy bushes to use as the head of the tree.  I cut several more of the bushes in different shades of green card and glued them into the lower right corner as shrubs.  I added a few tufts of grass and flowers below the tree and a single squirrel as an accent.  I added the window to the scene and nipped away any excess card from the edges of it.  I added it to my wallpaper with mounting foam.  I cut a small potted plant and flowers from the Windowsill Accessories die set and added it to the window ledge.  I used the Wordie sentiment of Enjoy Your Day and added it with mounting foam below the window.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
