You Are My Happiness
Hello bloggers! I picked a piece of soft salmon card as the background. I used some of the black and white striped paper from the Monochrome Paper Pad to the top and bottom of the card. I cut the Decorative Scrolled Frame twice out of white card. I cut one of them in half down the centre and glued the halves to the sides of the card. I glued the last one to the centre of them. I inked the Petunia Stampcut die in black and cut it, then coloured it with alcohol ink markers. I added it to the card with mounting foam. I cut two sentiments from Wordie sheets and placed them in opposite corners of the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8" x 9" in size. Mmmm, sorry Sue its a little busy for me, I'm not sure if the Peony detracts from the scrolled frame or vise versa, maybe if the Peony had been a different stronger colour to the rest of the colour choice it may make some difference, but as it stands, this inspiration isn't for me but there will be more that really love it that feel some uncertainty.

Not sure about this one, don’t know if it is too busy or too much of the one colour but love the fact that you have so much variety with your cards. You know the saying, ‘you can’t please all of the people all of the time’ well somehow you manage it 99.9% of the time so I reckon that’s pretty good going! Thank you Sue.

I quite love this card. The color is a favorite and I love the background. The black/white borders draw the eye into the center.
