Hello crafters! I started by creating the background using the new Glossy Glazes. I painted some of the Pink, Green Mint and Blue Glossy Glazes across a piece of acetate. I used a second piece of acetate and pressed them toegther then peeled them aprt, leaving a textural look to the acetate. I allowed it to dry thoroughly. I added it to a piece of white card that I lightly sponged some clouds above the "water" line of the acetate, I used the Aquatic Plants set and added some plants to the bottom of the card. Using the Under Sea Creatures, I added some fish of differing colours. I added a dolfin jumping out of the water. I used the Message in a Bottle set and added a bottle with a message in it to the bottom of the sea bed. I used the You Are My Treasure sentiment cut in black and glued to the top of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue.
So much to take in with this underwater sample. I'd love to know if there was a story behind the collection.
Hope everyone has a good day and is feeling well.

Hi Sue,
Lovely card. The underwater collection is beautiful. Love the background, so clever and the fish are gorgeous. The sort of card you can keep going beach to and noticing something else.

Interesting technique with the acetate It looks a little bit like marble
Hi Sue. What a really good idea for a background for an underwater scene. I love the way it really looks as though it is still wet.

Good morning Sue,
A fabulous under water card with all your beautiful dies. Yvonne xx
The acetate looks great, certainly like marble or
embossed like someone said. Still don't really
like this series of dies, but they do make good
cards.
Stay safe,
Doreen x

Hi Sue Lovely underwater scene The glossy glazes look fantastic on the acetate
Good Evening Sue. Another lovely Aquatic design. You are so clever Sue ... To think up and design all these underwater shapes ... And make them all into metal pieces ... for all your wilsonettes ... to cut out of many different weights and thickness of assorted coloured card. You deserve all the treasure you can put your hands on. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.
Stay safe and well everyone 🙏.
Hi Sue and everyone, what a fab background you created, my first question was how did you get the crackled look ? What a great technique you discovered 👏 it looks brilliant for under the sea. I also love the fabulous under the sea image you created, so many little details to look at. A brilliant card Sue.
Hugs
