Toucan Do It!

Hi bloggers!  I started by cutting the Tropical Background out of green card.  I backed it with a lighter shade of green card.   I cut an aperture in the middle of the background using the Double Stitched Squares set in a diamond orientation.  I cut a frame using the Square Postatge Stamp Frames in white and glued it to the outer edge of the aperture.   I made a multi-layered white frame using the Double Stitched Squares.  I added it over the background with mounting foam.  I backed the aperture with white card and cut the Toucan Do It sentiment in black and glued it inside.  I cut the Toucan in black, yellow and orange and layered the card up to create the bird.  I sat him on a split leaf sprig on the right side of the card.  I cut a couple of Hibiscus flowers fom the On The Beach set and seated them on tropical leaves from the Toucan set.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now.
