Fun In The Sun
Hi crafters! It's a fun shaker card for today's offering! I started with a piece of white card and used the Jade Sparkle and Turquoise Cascade Pearlescent Watercolour inks across it. I used a heat tool to dry the ink. Using the Double Stitched Squares, I made a white frame and added a piece of acetate to the back of it then added mounting foam to raise it. I scooped a couple of tablespoons of Iced Flake into the upside down frame then attached the watercoloured background to seal it. From the Under The Sea Creatures set, I cut the lobster, crab, starfish and seashells. I also cut several of the plants from the Aquatic Plants set. I arranged them in opposite corners so as to still see the shaker elements. I cut the Fun In The Sun sentiment out of both white and black card, shadowed it and glued it in the upper corner of th frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue. What a really interesting background you have created. At first I thought that you had embossed the acetate but on closer inspection it must be the shaker elements giving that effect. Thanks for sharing how you made this with us.
