Fun In The Sun
Good Sunday morning all! I used the new Palm Tree stencil and taped it to a piece of white card. I used blue ink for the clouds and water, did the palm trees in green and brown and the sand in Antique Linen. I cut a palm tree from the Island Paradise set. I cut it in tan and green and nipped away the top in the green die cut then glued it on to the tan base piece. I added it to the right side of the card with mounting foam. I cut a small Decorative Squares die and seated the Fun In The Sun srnyiment on it. I added it to the centre of the card. The card was completed with whit mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue would you pass the sunscreen and pitcher of pina colada please, this is such a lovely bright happy sample to use as maybe a 'Happy Honeymoon'. I Hope this is what you have to look forward to soon considering where in the world you are, the prettiest beaches I've ever been lucky enough to visit.

Hi Sue, sorry I didn't comment on yesterday's great card and I do love the Bubble Burst embossing folder, it is so useful for your watery scenes. Today's card is lovely and it is amazing what you can create from a stencil and a couple of dies. Love the simplicity that evokes warmth, peace and calm - perfect for a Sunday :-)
