For Someone Special
Hello there my crafty friends! I usd a piece of white gloss card to start today's card. I used Aqua Lagoon and Peacock Green Pixie Powders all over it. i coverd it with a piece of cling film and scrunched it up to give it wrinkles, then let it dry overnight. I removed the cling film the next day and used the Mallory cutting die to cut an aperture in the centre. I used the outer cutting dies to add a thin frame around the aperture. I added mounting foam to the back of the background to raise it and added it to a piece of white card. I cut two of the Magnolia Corner in white and glued them in opposite corners. I used powder pink card to make three flowers for each corner. I cut the inside of the Mallory die in white and recessed it into the aperture. I cut the For Someone Special sentiment out of the pixie card and glued it to the centre of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue. What a stunning card today. I love the shape of the Mallory die cut into the card to make an aperture, I can't remember seeing this used in this way before. I also love the colours you have used with the white to make a really fresh-looking card.
