A"Parrot"ly It's Your Birthday
Good Sunday morning all! I selected a piece of Pixie Sparkled card for my background on today's card. I used Coral Crush and Pumpkin Patch Pixie Sparkles. I cut an aperture in the right side using the Double Stitched Ovals. I made a thin white frame and added it around the aperture with mounting foam. I cut the Parrot out of white card as a base. I cut it again out of some left over pixied card and added the pieces on to the white base. I cut the swing out of gold mirror card and glued the parrot on to it, then hung it at the top of the aperture. I added some greenery and a pink flower. I cut the A"Parrot"ly It's Your Birthday sentiment in white and glued it to the left side of the card with a bit more greenery and another pink flower. the card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4" x 9" in size.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful birthday greetings yesterday! My daughter flew in to spend a few days with me and we are having a great time together! All for now, Sue x

How lovely that you're having family time with the most important people and that your daughter is spending time with her mum. I'm sure the next few days will be extra special and full of laughter and happiness, it's always lovely to read that you both spend special time making memories, it must make it slightly easier now you spend more time over seas.

What a wonderful tiime you will be having with your Daughter Sue. My Daughter from Wisconsinis in the UK until Saturday and at the moment we are spending precious time together.

A cheerful card today, just like a birthday card should look like. And on top of that, it's a fun card, too. Love the sentiment, the play on words would make anyone smile. I already ordered the Parrot set, first of all because of this sentiment.
