Hi bloggers! It is a clean and simple styled card for today's offering. I started by embossing a piece of white card with the
Daisy Field embossing folder. Next I cut the
Butterfly Shaped card die in black. I selected a piece of pixied card from my background stash. I had used
Midnight Blue and Rich Plum Pixie Powders on this piece. I cut it as the backing for the butterfly and glued them together. I glued the butterfly to the background, but only in the very centre as I wanted the wings to be free to be pulled up. I cut the
All Things Grow With Love sentiment in black and added it to the lower corner of the card. I completed the card with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

If there's one stunning insect it has to be the butterfly with its amazing mix of colours. They don't let you admire them for long before the next flower entices them to rest and feed but they just give you a fleeting glance of their colours and the 'eye of defence' on each wing. You pick up those colours so well Sue, I have your very first butterfly collection and over the years it's added a little bit of loveliness to my cards and also covered a few oopsies along the way lol now I feel guilty 😔
This inspiration is a beautiful picture of cleanliness and peace, we all need some beauty and peace in our lives at the moment and here is the place to find it.
Many congratulations to Sam on her beautiful new collection, I wonder who bought her talent to the surface.
