Merry Christmas

Hi there my crafty friends!  I cut the Slimline Inner Scalloped Rectangles in white, leaving a wide margin around it.  I added mounting foam to the back and attached another piece of white card that I embossed with the Stripes embossing folder as a backing.  From the Christmas Accessories set, I cut the two baubles out of Antique gold card and added a gold mirror card backing to them.  I cut the pearl garland from the Bauble Branch and added the ornaments at the top pf the card on the garland swag.  I cut the Christmas tree and presents from the Christmas Shadowbox die set.  I decorated the tree with garland and ornaments from the set and added a bit of red Glitter Kiss to the baubles for bling.  I added the two larger presents in the lower aperture with the tree standing off to the left with a small present underneath.  I cut the Merry Christmas out if gold card and glued it to the centre aperture opening.  The card was completed with white, red, and gold mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 1/4"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now Sue x

Oh my word Sue, I was using the Christmas Accessory yesterday and it's one of the most useful Christmas collections you've given us, I've used my tree and decorations on a small 7x7 and they help make a smashing CAS card if simplicity is your favourite which I admit is becoming my favourite at the moment. Its a really lovely piece of inspiration Sue, just what is needed if falling behind with the festive list, why does it creep up so fast, it only seems two weeks since we had our anniversary (June) and now I'm faced with what weight of turkey crown we need lol 🦃
Stay really safe dear friends especially our vulnerable lovely senior friends here, stay well, and to Muriel and Donna hope you're both OK xxx

Hi Sue
A fabulous card. I love that the main action is outside the boxes, I’d not thought of doing it like that.

Hi Sue. What a good idea to extend the use of the die by adding elements to the outer frame which reminds us that we don't have to try to cram everything into the apertures. Thank you.

Hi Sue, a lovely card and all your dies mix and match so beautifully although I admit that it takes me twice as long to decide which ones to use than it does to make a card :-)

Lovely card. I’ve been rushed off my feet lately so no time to check in. I’m going to be away for three weeks from tomorrow so I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you, Sue, and all your followers a very happy Christmas and a much brighter new year.
